Everything you need to get a 2 camera system up and running. Seems like a decent 1080p kit for the price. 30 days of recording on the 1TB Drive.

What does this security kit provide me with?
This four-channel security system kit provides 24-hour protection and security for your home or business. It includes two 3MP cameras, with the functionality to add a further two cameras. The cameras can be installed indoors or outdoors and are IP66 weatherproof rated. Each camera has a 64-degree viewing angle, both horizontally and vertically, providing you with excellent coverage of your property.

The kit provides you with everything you will need to get the CCTV kit installed, including 18 metres (60 feet) of cabling per camera, a power adapter with splitter, a mouse and some theft deterrent stickers. The kit includes the relevant cables required to set your CCTV system up, both to your TV, and to connect your DVR to your router, to enable remote viewing.

How much can I record with this CCTV kit?
The DVR4-4750 comes preinstalled with a 1TB hard drive, which can be taken out and replaced with up to a 4TB drive, quadrupling your storage capacity. The 1TB hard drive can provide you with an incredible 30 days of recording and with the kit’s motion-detect feature, you can record only when movement is picked up which will extend this considerably.

Can I view the cameras remotely?
The SwannView Link app lets you keep an eye on your security kit wherever you are, giving you peace of mind whether you are at home or away – and even if you’re abroad. Ensure your DVR is connected to the internet - using the cables provided - and install the app on your smartphone or tablet, using mobile data or Wi-Fi. Your phone can then remotely connect to the kit, providing you a live video feed from each camera, and the ability to playback stored recordings. The SwannView Link app is compatible with iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows and Mac.

So if the router is downstairs and the best place to put the DVR is attic, then how can you connect it to internet??
Thanks

Get a wifi repeater from ebay for under £10

Swann is a good brand but i wouldnt bother at this price for the set. For this i’d be expecting a POE set maybe

Personally I think the Costco deal is better, same box DVR, better more modern thermal cameras, and 3mp recording.

As for the POE comment you don't want POE at this resolution, BNC cables are more stable.

Both deals seem expensive after I got a 720 system, 4 cams under 50 quid del. ebay.

Picked this up on Wednesday very impressed with it so far. I'd probably spend the extra £40 on the thermal one they have as I'm getting alot of false triggers due to bugs etc.
