Great price if it also includes the VAT. Neighbour has it and he’s impressed with the image quality. 8 channel too, handy if you want to expend the system.
That link takes you to the wrong SKU. I think it’s this 4 channel one:

Can anyone advice
After a startup camera
4 is enough for me
I’m thinking of installing my self
I understand all the cables and drilling
But apart from that will the actual unit be easy to set up ?
Loop recording ?
Would I buy monitor or connect to telly?
Can I have an app the remotely monitors ?
Regards

Basically yes to all those questions. Has HDMI output so connect to any TV / monitor. Pretty easy setup, setting up alerts and actions can take a little bit more time if you want those functions.

You can set active/ inactive zones to avoid alerts from unwanted traffic. I.e. you want to know if someone comes on your drive but not if they walk by on the pavement in the same image.

Assuming this is the same true detect model I've got it's brilliant at detecting people only and not rain, wind, bugs etc.

App setup was pretty simple also so can view live and recordings from anywhere.
He says the price starts on the 11th May

Do you need a monitor for this or can you work straight from your phone ? Do you need to buy a separate router for Wi-fi ?
Cheers
If anyone has this be interested to see some images from day and night to see if the quality is any good.

Thank you.

I have the Yale but it’s utter rubbish. Look on Amazon for the Annke system, good reviews and customer service is excellent. You can pick up a decent monitor for £80
Looks interesting this
5mp cameras on coax cable?
Not sure how good quality will be.
If it really does record 2.5 times better than 1080p that HDD will be insufficient for 4 cameras.
I have proper hickvison (NVR) stuff with two 4mp cameras and 2tb HDD. It only holds around 6 weeks of footage on motion.
You know when there is a high value robbery and the only pictures of the highly effective thieves look like they've been taken on a potato from several streets away ? These are those camera's guys.........

What Hikvision model mate? I'm looking to set up just a couple of cameras and know Hikvision is good rated stuff.
i have this, paid £300 for it from costco
quick review
camera is fine, the app for smart devices like iphone and android is terrible,
the heat sensor is good but dose not always work properly,
if the app for smart phone is importnat to you dont buy this but if you just want it for the DVR than a good buy and a great price

they are fine for a 100 meters roughly and night image is fine as long as its not pitch black
I'll have to check. I've had it for years though and new model will be different from what I have.
I've had this system for a while now and it's a great system. For £199 that's a brilliant price, the only thing that let's it down is the app, it's a bit hit and miss

Have you looked into switching the cameras from B&W to colour at night too.
I've not even tried it, gonna try tommorow, didn't even know it could do that, that'll teach me for not reading the instructions
@bman1979 fottage looks good even in B&W

Shame to hear that about the app though.
Is this just online offer, or warehouse too?
Great spot. Ordered this morning, thanks OP 🏻

It’s in store as well 🏻
Sadly this is 4 channel, still a great deal so heat. Looking for atleast 6.
Looks like this is a great deal. I'm in a flat but on ground floor looking for something small. Say one on the door (like ring doorbell) and 2 on each sides of the flat.
