anyone know which is better ???
4K x 6 on a 2TB Hdd what’s the FPS? 2?
It’s cheap enough these day to put your own poe system on a 8-12TB hdd and use just as powerful open source software.
I’ve heard the Swann software is awful to use also

I was leaning towards Swann due to google home compatibility but don’t know much about lorex
2tb with 4x4k cameras isn’t going to store many hours of recording, just something to keep in mind.
We have a hikvision system at home, it's really good quality.

Is it compatible with google home or alexa?

No I don't so, was just really a comment on the quality of it, don't want Google or alaxa being able to access it, they have access to most things as it is lol

over priced, not very good components, totally rubbish customer services, poor quality power supplies, bad cameras... the list goes on!
go on ebay or banggood or tomtop and get a relatively cheap one and put your own v large HDD in and as someone else said use a widely available open source app to control it, as for alexa/google hub/apple home kit... why? what can you do with it attached to a smarthome hub?
alexa turn the camera on/off? if its a security thing surely they will be on for security reasons not convenience!

if these were made by apple i would expect this price
