Decent high quality cctv camera kit.

Paid £599.99 at Maplin last month - though this one has a 2TB drive.

1TB should easily be enough for 4 cameras - you can change sensitivity settings, its motion detected, night vision, record only at certain times, set up email alerts with picture.

Hopefully someone can get a bargain here.

Customer returned items - There's a lot of them on ebay - Perhaps its because you can build a better system with a higher spec for much less.
5MP Camera with POE on ebay, new for less than £60 - ebay.co.uk/itm…750
Or a stealth camera (which doesn't glow red at night)

Yip, second that. I've heard those are good at a fraction of the price. Can you post a link please?
I built my own hikvision system for similar price.
My setup is as follows

3 X hikvision 4mp WDR cameras
1 X 8 channel hikvision NVR with 4tb disk

Which NVR'S model did you go for, and how you finding it?
I use hikvision cameras with POE and use a shared directory for each camera on my PC as the storage. Since the recordings are on a PC, you can easily expand and do lots more with them - I have mine automatically backing up to my google storage, since you don't want to lose the recording of that burglar that broke into your home, when he steals your recording system.

Oh, just a bit of advice - If you are getting spider webs on your IR cameras, its because the insects love the lights at night and the spiders know this, so build their webs around the red lights. The only way I have found to fix this problem is to disable your camera IR and buy a separate night activated IR system light for about £10 on ebay. Put it about half a meter away. Works a treat
Would you need a professional go install these and how much would it cost thanks
