EDIT - You can get the exact same thing but in BLACK for £19.99!
Thanks, been looking out for a good deal on a high capacity power bank for a while.
Great customer service too from Swees, have the older model and its case started popping apart so them and they sent the newer model without quibbling or even wanting the old one back.
This or the EC Technology ones with around 22,000 mAh?

Unless the EC Technology offers something new, this one has more mAh
black 1 was on offer for few quid less . i have been tracking this item for long to get it but when it was on lightning deal or less price i didn't buy it coz of its size. it would be hard to carry them around i felt. they have the exact same mah battery but smallest of all but bit expensive. that would be idle to carry i guess.

It isn't that much heaver than some of the smaller large cap batteries but it isn't really designed to be carried in a pocket, it's for those away from a power source for several days camping etc. If you want something small and portable to carry around with you then buy something small and portable and use this to charge it on a night if you're away from home. Took mine to Glasto last year and it still had over 25% charge by the time we returned back home nearly a week later.

Hit the nail on the head.
These power banks are aimed at people who want to carry backpacks or use whilst at events/camping... If you're after a pocket sized power bank at a reasonable weight, you're probably looking at about 4000 mAh, which will still charge your phone at least twice.
4.5A total output makes me happy

Twice?! Maybe 4 years ago but not today.

Plus £4.99 delivery oO
From a bit of googling, this would exceed the maximum lithium battery capacity you can take on some airlines (e.g BA is 100Wh = 20000 mAh. ) could be something to keep in mind but not sure how often they'd check your power packs..
Going camping soon, great excuse to upgrade and great price. Thanks op.
Is this brand reliable and has anyone checked you get the quoted mAh out of it?

I can't find any reviews where they've checked with a mAh monitor... There's loads of reviews on the Amazon product page though...

I bought this a year ago, and returned it after it developed a large bulge 4-6 weeks later. Easy return (Amazon) and worked well when I used it.
Even cheaper (per mAh) is the 18,500mAh version of this at £12.99

Has anyone here tried travelling by air with one of these? I've had small power banks go through hand luggage plenty times without problem but reckon they'd be a bit wary of something this size.

I've traveled with a small 4000 mAh power bank before, and my friend had a 18,000 power bank roughly the same size as this and he didn't have any problems. But as mentioned above, the maximum battery mAh is 20,000, this battery exceeds that amount, but I've never heard of anyone being stopped to have their mAh checked...

Better price per mAH, and fits with airline regulations. Excellent find, bought 2 of them

(You should post it as a deal!)

Keep in mind that they are 3.7v batteries inside....
The true 5v mAH rating is just short of 15,000mAH
(There is no reason to doubt it will have that kind of power though - Swees are a well known brand...and have been reviewed many times on Amazon)

You have no reason to doubt the performance. It's clearly a price glitch though as the lower mAH Swees battery is the same price. So if you need a battery like this, buy it before the price goes back up!

I went for the 18,500mAh too, very good price. Should be able to charge my tablet twice. There's a review on Amazon of the 14,000mAh version where someone tested it and the capacity was correct/as advertised so it should be OK.
It's a good price, but it seems to be about standard for this product:

Also, there's a volumetrically smaller, but slightly higher capacity one for only £3 more:

edit: Also, this going on lightning deal at 15:30: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00EA1P8OI/
12000mAh, currently at £14, so I'd expect it to go down to around a tenner.

edit edit: A used, very good 10,000mAh powerbank for £8.87 (aluminium chassis): amazon.co.uk/Aut…XK/

100Wh does not equal 20,000 mAh. 100 divided by 3.7 which is the internal voltage of the batteries gives a figure of a little over 27,000. So this is fine.
