This was on offer before did anyone get it and what is it like in terms of advertised capacity

Thanks op

I missed it previously. had good reviews then. was waiting for it to drop. thanks

One reviewer mentioned capacity at 8300 to 9300 not that bad for the price I have new Trent one that has a 6600 capacity but actually probably only has around 5000 Mark

Trust me they are awesome.i have them from the last offer. most have for that price.

I wonder what the difference is between these and the same capacity Anker ones 3 times the price: Here

I bought one a month or so ago when they first appeared on here.

I have found that it can fully charge my Motorola XT890 five times, maybe slightly more.

That's a lot of mAh for your buck, great deal.

Just ordered, nice one. Thanks for posting this have some heat

How quickly would it charge your phone?

Isn't an iphone standard wall charger 5 amp and this is only 2? ... Good deal regardless but just curious.

This is an amazing price for 12,000 mah! Sure might not have the conversion of an anker but for the price is pretty much a bargain. These things are so useful to have. Heat

You could just get yourself one of these for less than £2 delivered, ebay.co.uk/itm…AIT put in a decent set of recharge AA batteries and you have a decent power bank, as it only take AA batteries you can also carry spares so can get even more back up power when outdoors. I use Duracell 2450Mah in mine and they give me 4 chargers on my acer z3 phone or about 20 chargers on my MP3 player

5 amp from a charger??? even a 40w anker cant do it from a single port. max it throws is 2amp. we would buy the iphone charger if it could throw 5amp. and after learning from forum when charging 18650, if u have 1000mah batter u could give max 1amp .2000mah battery 2 amp. if we throw 5 amp to charge it quickly ur battery is dead i suppose. thats why anker 40 watt has iq which send exactly amount of current ur device need but surely not more than 2.1 drom a port tho.

No - it's 5 watts - 5 volts at 1 amp. The iPad charger is 5V at 2.1A. So this should charge your phone just as quick as the official charger.

Note the mAH rating on most of these devices is the storage for the lithium ion batteries inside them - which will vary from about 3.0 to 4.2V depending on state of charge. That needs to be boosted to 5V for the output, so the actual mAH rating should really be reduced by a similar amount. If you take a nominal 3.6V average, then 12000mAH will equate to a real-life 8640mAH.

there might be some kind of mechanism inside the aa charger if you are correct but i dont think aa has enough volt to even give a blink to your phone cos mobile phones battery these days have 3.7 volt and the aa has 1.2 volt. if they have put them in serial method........but i dint think that aa charger is great but if u are using then no comment from my side. better to get 18650 battery case from ebay and use a nice pana or sony batter to charge the phone. this is how anker build their battery.

these batteries are not made from 18650 cos i know the size of 18650. i m preety sure it must have been made like the mac book battery or mobile phone or lets say iphone battery if u have opened it .it is kind of flat size. but with same voltage.

Bought this last time, fully charged my samsung galaxy s2 3 times before dropping to below 75%, so i expect at least ~8 charges for me before empty. Charges as fast if not faster than the mains too. A little heavy, but worth it. Of course takes ages to charge the actual brick since it stores so much juice

Got one last time. Can't measure true capacity (how would you do that?) but charges my tablet and phone multiple times. Really good device for the price. Hope it's durable.

It is FREE DELIVERY

Just took this to Reading Festival, charged my phone and others all weekend....the "charge" stalls were charging 8 quid for one charge !!

Been after something like this for a while but usually a little pricier than i'd want to pay. This looks like a good bet though and paid for with my free £20 amazon credit from the sun+ offer.. Another HUKD bargain

Really good product this. Bigger than I expected (similar to a western digital passport hard drive). Easily get 4 iphone charges out of it. Good price too.

It holds 4 batteries. I'm sure they are run in parallel so they would provide 4.8 volts. You can also use a dc-dc step up circuit if you want to use less than 4 batteries in another application.
