Ever since my Asda had this on at the twinpacks 3 for £2 I've never seen it again lol.

Hopefully they'll have some in now, cant beat fresh corn.

love fresh corn on the cob....thumbs up

great deal, bought some the other day, but be sure to check your receipt as it scanned through at £1 for me and had to go to customer service, where quite a few other ppl seemed to be getting refunded for it also.

I work at asda on produce, the reason for this is the price chances come through and the morning staff are either too busy to do them or just don't bother, so chances are they won't get done until an evening staff person, or a manager, by chance happens to look to see if there are any price chances.

Also there is 3pack of courgettes 50p (which nobody ever buys), most of the apple bags are either £1 (there's a massive bag of british red apples) or some are 2 for £3 (the pink lady 4pack, the extra special 4pack), don't bother with those 50p 4pack of baking potatoes it's only rolled back from 68p and they are a **** variety (marfona, which turn green literally overnight), and there's an excellent deal on a salad bag called Fine Cut salad - basically the large bag is now 50p, same price as the smaller bag, so grab the larger one.

Another note is if you go into Asda and their produce has run out of swede, loose leaks, loose potatoes, then it is because there are 2 codes for each of these (welsh swede/british swede, welsh leaks/loose leaks etc.), and it's impossible to delete the unused code and the morons on checkouts use the old code every day (we tell them not to all the time) which screws up the inventory level.

another tip? there's a good deal on one of the chilled promotion end fridges - Cathedral City cheese, huge tub of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and some other stuff ... 3 for £5.
