marine salt-instant ocean 25kg £40 inc free delivery @ Swell
Found 25th Nov 2015Found 25th Nov 2015
I know this is a niche market but salt is a necessity for marine fish/reef keepers -cheapest I've found for 25kg on Ebay is £44.95 delivered -part of the black friday discount week

Clown fish always looked so tasty, maybe thats why they stay in that sea anemone all the damn time!

pretty average price for swell, they often run 10 or even sometimes 15% codes bringing the price under £40. Voted hot as it is cheaper than most

Tacky or not, they are out of stock.

What size cats do you have in your area? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beast_of_Bodmin

Yes, very possibly if you live in an area with lions!

Yeah looks tacky, probably leak and go mouldy within a short amount of time. Plus it will attracts birds to drink out of it and eat fish. Cats will probably tip this thing up..... come home to a back garden that looks like it belongs in somerset. No thanks :)

I'd fancy something similar (though probably in a gloss black perspex) indoors / on the balcony, but seems like it would be a ballache to clean.

Boyu MT50 80-litre Aquarium - £76.94 @ SwellUK
Found 3rd Apr 2012Found 3rd Apr 2012
This went up to around £100 on other sites a while back, but here it's cheaper than I paid when I bought it a couple of years ago... Comes with activated carbon, bio balls, pump,… Read more

I used http://www.seapets.co.uk/ to get my 120 litre tank a couple of years back. It was a really good deal at the time and the service was pretty good too. Not sure if it was a one off though but might be worth a check!

Thanks for the advice mamboboy, is there any decent websites other than this to get decent tanks that you know of? That aren't going to bend me over on price. I'll definitely look into the air pump.

Axolotl's may be better off in a tank that's wider as opposed to higher. But that doesn't mean this tank would be bad... the filtration system is definitely ideal for them, it comes with 3 large filter sponges. You'll need oxygen in the tank as well... the eheim 100 is a pretty good air pump that can be had for ~£18 paulockenden, voting this deal cold because you believe fish should be in their natural habitat is pretty dumb. Have you seen how overstocked pet shop aquariums are? People buying aquariums is much better than them not as the fish would all die from stress in those tiny tanks... I have one angelfish in my Boyu, he's away from all natural predators, fed twice a day and water changed every week. He's around 7 years old... so I'm fairly certain he's happy and not missing the ocean.

Hey duuuuudes, I'm after a good tank for Axolotl's. Buying the eggs so I'll need something to house from babies to adults. Does anyone know if this would be suitable? They're cold water so the cooling fan with this would be ideal I think. Does anyone know the dimensions of this tank? I can't find them on the site.

fish have short memories anyways so I doubt they know theyve already done the same short lap 10,000 times already. I dont agree with birds in cages because wings are for flying with and to deny them that basic right is a bit sick imho. Bit like restricting a human from walking.
