Swissvoice Epure Full Eco Cordless Single DECT Telephone - £12.50 (was £50) & Answer Phone Version £20 (was £70) @ Tesco instore

Found 8th Oct 2014
The answer phone model was down from £70 to £20 and the non answerphone model was down from £50 to £12.50.

I bought one of each and linked them up, two of these for £32.50 is not bad at all.

Receipt available for the non believers if you want it.

Various phone brands reduced, maybe worth checking your local.

Wild goose-o-phone chase in.................. YES you're right, in Tesco.

Just was in Tesco Extra Peterborough last night, I was chasing the hard drive goose, the Swiss Voice goose and few others - found NONE

Wouldn't mind if someone would get me the Swiss Voice phone (£10-£20) and 2tb Hdd (£35) and post to me. Money waiting

Loving these but don't think I'll join yet another tesco goose

Everyone always complains about the Tesco wild goose chase, yet when you think about it there are very obvious reasons it happens. Companies dump stock when they have low levels and wont be ordering more, and its very rare anything comes out from a warehouse that is reduced as they sell full pallets to discount shops. Therefore the only stores that will have the deals are the ones where they don't sell, especially as this is most likely the last in a series of reductions. As Tesco have so many stores of course most will have already sold them, the silly price is always to ditch the last few so they can delete them from inventory.

Thats why I never go to Tesco specifically for a bargain, but I do keep note of what others have found so when in there anyway I can look. To expect your local to have them though is madness, to complain that it doesn't more so.

Op could have named the store if there were any left.

Its still expensive for international caller to call you on your mobile rather than landline.

just seen your post I got some in there 2hrs ago.
I hope they are easy to link together.

Works as a great bluetooth speaker with nice sound and decent volume. Got one from a Viking Direct deal a few years back for £15. Works well with my ancient HP Touchpad with Cyanogenmod android on it so should work with any newer tech!

Yeh it's simple, just follow the manual. I've linked 2 extras to my answer phone base

Paid about £50 from Very a year back. It's exactly the same screen and UI as a cheap £10 Wharfedale I got from Argos years back, so wasn't much effort to add the Wharfedale as a second handset.

I have done more goose stepping than than a bloody ss storm trooper of late.
never again

I learned my lesson a couple of years ago with anything not on their website - for both Tesco & ASDA. Waste of time looking for these things - they're likely to be only ones in the country.

Even with Fibre (Infinity), BT still make you rent a s*dding phone line @ £16.99 a month. Last time I used that line was 2 years ago (to test it worked) and all that happens now is that Indian call centres ring it 5 times a day with PPI carp calls. Good old BT would even charge you more to stop them calling you, now that's quality service !

Herr Elevation, you can speak in German if you get the zurich version.

Voted hot for the price compared as by far the cheapest I seen for these.

Just make sure your happy with them if purchasing though. There's a few annoying things/features that still frustrate me about them. I`ve had 4 sets for approx. 18months now and find sound quality not greatest and inconsistent. The most annoying thing though is the missed calls flashing LED. Yes its a good feature to easily show you have a missed call, but you have to go round each individual handset and view the missed call numbers on each set to clear the LED`s. I thought nowadays they could have linked them all so you only had to view once to clear the group if you know what I mean.

Smart little modern phone sets to look at and have on display though and seem to be no issues with batteries etc.

Worst cordless phone ever bought. Looks nice but very very poor voice quality.

Strange, I don't get a flashing LED for missed calls, tested it myself. Not that I'm complaining. Maybe it's switched off in the settings. Only time the LED blinks is when it rings

Can u see the incoming call number without having to pick up the handset anyone who has this?
Not so great if not

Yes, I think you can change the setting but we've got ours so you have to press green to answer after you've picked up the handset from the base.

Bought white one. Thanks

Anyone checked slough or southhall?

can confirm the standard handset in white (about 3) and possibly one of the answer phone sets in black available at Woolwich Extra at time of posting (10/10/14 1.30pm)

Do you have the barcode and I can check to see what store has them ?

Errrr... I don't quite know which you're referring to, is this a barcode on the product itself? I can scan those for you if you want, I've seen mention of this but I don't know what people are referring to (or is it on a docket of some sort?)

you could try this way of checking. its worked for me in the past they will also tell you how much it is in store. get the item number from Tesco online 1st, if its on there. but it may not come up on there stock info so probably best to check in store.

Yep thanks Archie41, I have scans of them now but am not sure how to upload them to this thread - or is that all the info you need for the search?

When I was in store they were clearly marked on the shelf at the discount prices.

Just got last two without answerphone from St Helens at 12.50 each, and last one with answerphone from Widnes for 20.00. delighted!!
