If I put £400 in via dd, can I take that back out and put it back in to qualify?

Their IT/website needs a serious overhaul. You can't even log into Cooperative from an iPad running iOS 8 anymore, reason I switched away. They're unable to react quickly enough to software issues, which means I no longer trust their security.

agree with website problems but no problem in getting £100 for switch and £40 from top cash back.

What colour overall?

I switched in Feb and have already had my £100 and waiting on my TCB to be payable. Great company so far, had no problems. But you cant send money via DD as someone has asked. Needs £800 a month paid in and two DD set up

They don't pay up and they are a very poor "Bank"

You can't set up direct debits.

You can set up standing orders or bank transfers.

I don't know how the Tcb works as usually t&c’s say transaction has be completed wholly online, but you have to phone coop to start the switch!

i think TCB cash back is for opening an account, not for switching.
so as long as you click through TCB and apply you should be ok.

No you can't.
It masks the password drop down list so you can't select the second digit of the security code. Its a known reported fault, that Cooperative were made aware of on the release of iOS8, still no fix.

It only masks the 2nd digit and it's still selectable. If you can't wait for the fix, you still can use the iPhone app on the iPad.

that's what I meant. either way I've been paid and I had no issues with them

Thanks for the replies what about paying in by cash?

If you are thinking of joining and using an iPad to do your banking, anyone that wants to see the login problem before signing up - using iOS 8, do the following:

Open Safari, head to Cooperative Website via google, Select 'Personal banking login' from the Orange dropbox.
Enter a Cooperative Sort code eg. 809020 for sort code, and any 8 digit account ie. 12345678.
Select next, then attempt to enter two digits from a hypertheticaly 4 digit password, you will see the problem, the second digit is masked for all the entries in the drop box - so you are unable to easily select a number 0-9, for the second digit.

Cooperative were told on the release of iOS 8 and still haven't fixed it. iOS 8 betas have been around since last June. That to me shows flaws in their overall security/testing procedures.

The way they outsource development - I doubt Cooperative would cope if they has to deal with a real security vunerabilty..one that needed to be patched quickly. Basically, its not good enough.
