Good price, Any good deals on Tomtom?

My wife and I both used to have Sygic on our phones and have now got rid of it. It started getting really flaky - we couldn't go a journey without it crashing, and of course it would always do it when you got to the end part of your journey and had no idea where you were.

With others like Nokia Here (what we now use) completely free I don't see that there is a reason to buy at any price.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I've used Waze for a couple of years now and it's free, reliable and has so many more features.

I've got Sygic on my phone. Much prefer Google maps.
Not voting either way.

but none of those allow offline navigation do they? so you would have to pay roaming data charges abroad?

I have MapFactor Navigator on my phone. It's free and you can download maps to memory so you don't need to be connected to the net and pay roaming charges. I use it when I'm on holiday in South Africa and it's been extremely useful and accurate. In the UK it can be a bit weird at times and I prefer to use my Blaupunkt sat-nav. However the maps are constantly being updated which isn't the case for the Blaupunkt which is getting in for seven years old now.

Copilot sat nav app is also on sale. A bit pricier but a better app + includes a year of traffic.

I use Nokia here ,
It covers the whole world
you save the maps to your phone so you can use them offline and it has traffic info and best of all it's free

I've tried Sygic, Wave and Here.
But, bought a three year licence of TomTom Go. Which according to my devices runs out in 2021
