Start your journey with a smile introducing the updated and improved Fiddle III. Alongside the awesome, deeper finish, Two Tone colour schemes, there have been some really clever and aesthetically pleasing additions and changes.

Smooth, clean styling reminiscent of the 'golden era' look with 'Venting' on the rear body, the addition of a Glove Box, a lower, flatter seat height, more power using a new Electronically Controlled Carb, larger Fuel Tank to improve range & LED running lights incorporated into the front indicator units. A real stand out head turner.

Only if you have a Car Licence before Feb 2001. Even so Moped insurance can be difficult to obtain if you ask to be covered for a passenger. I also doubt it would be safe with only a 50cc engine for someone new to mopedding to carry a passenger.

That aside, surely walking would be quicker than 2 up on one of these.

Will still hit its restricted speed, I have carried a pillion many times on my 50 kymco agility.
AFAIK

If you have passed you car driving test (no matter when), you still need a CBT and you cannot carry a passenger until you have passed your full motorcycle test.

Carrying a passenger comes as standard with my Bennett policy at £77 per year.

A full uk driving licence before 2001 gives you full moped entitlement with no further training required, after 2001 you just needed to do a CBT to validate your moped category, once completed you again get full moped entitlement, no more CBT required, no L plates and can CARRY a passenger.

The 125 for £2,199 (+OTR) is likely to be a far better ride. 5 year warranty too.

Just be sure what you're getting into with any of these things and recognise the poor safety statistics.

Definitely an option but can not be rode on a full driving licence, so CBT or bike test is your only option, if you go for the CBT option you have to display L plates and no passenger.
Can't get 2 on a moped...?

You should visit Malaysia/Thailand and see families of 7 on one!!!

Not a case of cannot, a case of it wont move very fast under the weight. The scooters you see in SE Asia are typically de-tuned 100cc or 125cc; not much faster than a de-restricted UK 50cc, but with a fair bit more grunt to haul the average family of 7.

My wife had a Suzuki 100cc knock off (made to the Suzuki pattern, using the same parts; and in a factory Suzuki had closed); top speed on the flat was about 48-50mph.

And you might live a bit longer!
If one really must buy a cheaper Chinese scooter because they can't afford a Piaggio and want that retro style, then save a monkey by opting for this instead.

Piaggio Liberty was my first scooter - paid about £1,200 for it new. Still got the top box in fact. It wasn't attached when some thieving scumbag decided to pinch the rest of the bike.
Cold - no dual band or antenna included

Which is the only opinion that matters, otherwise we'll go down the idiotic path that Catalonia does not belong to Spain...

I know someone with a Sym scooter, he loves it, the local motorcycle club lets him join the trips as long as he goes at the back. He keeps at his holiday villa on the Med!
