Well like anything, it isn't indestructible.

How about old Nokias?

Just ordered, they have it used from amazon.com, which just seems to have damaged boxing, for £11.70.
Can't go wrong

I bought one of these last week, brilliant fun, really solid design, crashed loads of times but doesn't damage it, controller is a bit poor though, left hand stick snapped quite easily but still useable, hot at the price it is though

Very good price for a 3 channel!

got one few years ago really good fun ....heat ..

Also got this a few year ago just because it was cheap, roughly the same price as this, doesn't seem as much of a bargain now as it did when I had my big kid head on and bought it considering its still sat in its box unopened. Good old HUKD!

Skillful fun cat deterrent? (_;)

Good little choppers are these!

I have had a few of these and a few other brands too for my son. This brand is superior quality compared to lots of the others available.

At this price, it is excellent value.

These r amazing and I like my children they go to close to the ceiling u can buy replacement parts from amazon also ..... Highly recommend x

Lol..But get it unboxed and charged up..they are good for a laugh and the s107's actually "do as they are told" unlike some other dodgy ones which have a mind of their own !

would anyone recommend this as I am thinking of purchasing, also if I bought it tomorrow morning when would you expect it to arrive, thanks

This is the price from another seller. Amazon is £13.58 with free delivery. You need to check the right hand side of the screen with Amazon.
Though the amazon stock seems to be running out so 1p more doesn't spoil the deal.

Well, the amazon reviews recommend it heartily.
As do people on this exact same thread?!??

You shouldn't buy one!

i had one of those lasted 5 min indoor hitting every single object in the room .. is really not wise to buy those indoor ones unless you know how to use them and don't need a practice .. i will buy only outdoor ones
anyway i didn't vote hot or cold for the deal

iv done the same ,its pretty much how you learn !

Replacement parts for children who go too close to the ceiling? I'm always telling mine to avoid the ceiling but didn't realise we could pick up spares online.

I've had one of these for a couple of years now. It's a fantastic little heli, very stable and easy for all to fly. I've since graduated to aerobatic helis but this still comes out whenever anyone else wants a go without the risk of damaging one of the more expensive models and it's really hard to crash this one badly - I've never had to buy any spares unlike my other ones. Flies well indoors but not really outside. Trim is essential and works really well. All in all it's a perfect heli for beginners or for a bit of fun! HOT!

That comment is probably going to put a lot of people off! I can handle mine perfectly fine - are you sure yours wasn't faulty or needed trimming? They are very easy to control once you've adjusted them upon first flight.

I owned the previous model of the S107 and it was excellent, but fell apart after only 2-3 weeks with careful flying, so be careful with it :P

Replacement Set

I bought this yesterday for £4 with my order

I bought a S107 for my daughter to get used to and they are very good. Does anyone with any experience know a good step up from these? For outdoor use?

Probably adaft question that I will get ripped apart on here for but....what is the difference between an indoor and outdoor helicopter?

How do you charge it? Is it from the controller or can u also plug it into mains?

Without stating the obvious.... The outdoor ones are generally bigger and more powerful - making them too awkward to fly indoors (unless you have a sports hall I guess...).

You get a usb cable and plug that plugs in to the chopper.

not true, you must just be a really bad pilot. They are for indoors too. I have one and they take no time at all to get good at, very easy to use. Good little gadget.

I went up to this one next:Amazon Link

It's FAR more agile, but FAR more difficult to fly, and a lot more money, and because its faster you crash it more and need spare parts because although its tough it's not invincible. Worth a look though.
