Depends if your contract is up and you are free to leave or you are on payg and can change it over then

Is there any internet allowance ?

It would actually be easier if you weren't! You could port your number to another network first then back to this. Have a look at portnumber.co.uk for more information on this.

Is it the same as this previous deal?

whats the limmit on unlimmited if there is one

COLD for me. You make a huge generalisation about it beating Giffgaff and its not even comparable.

Im pay as you go and just ran out of credit was hoping i could switch

wow what a deal

Same here.

If you choose the 'unlimited internet' booster then it appears cheap on the face of it, but then you'll easily go over 100 mins/texts and end up paying more. Unless you have no friends I guess.

In fact the complete lack of cross-network minutes means this is pretty useless. Surely most people use more than 100 mins a month?

Not very helpful... can you explain what you mean please? As far as I can see for anyone who only needs 100 mins and txt it's probably the best deal available?

Its a good deal, but only better than Giffgaff if you meet a certain set of requirements. For my needs Giffgaff is cheaper. Plus I've yet to actually pay any topup money on Giffgaff, because when someone orders a free sim up via my referral link we both get £5 free credit.

Is the tesco simonly deals not better for £4 extra? If you need more mins/texts that is?

I'm with T-Mobile at the moment. 30-day £10 per month. I've also got the Blackberry email service. Which brings it to a total of £15 per month.

Can I do the same with this for £11 per month?

Ive left T-Mobile because of their high prices, and joined Giffgaff -8p per call rather than 25p T-Mobile, and 4p for texts. (I don't use the mobile much to warrant a monthly contract anyway)

Not even close. 3 minutes a day is more than adequate for a lot of people, considering how landlines are generally free at night and, you know, you could actually speak to your friends face-to-face.

I have something similar with T-Mobile for £7.50 pm but get 2 boosters (mine are the Unlimited Web and Unlimited Landlines). I have never been over my 100 minutes although I am a bit more careful nowadays, plus the Unlimited Landlines Booster helps greatly.

I dont know if the deal I am on is available anymore, it was a 24 month contract with a T-Mobile Pulse.

you can just a bit long winded, get another payg sim orange, o2 etc, switch over to that sim and then get a pac number for that sim and switch back to T-Mob.

Can anybody find what the "Fair Usage Policy" is for the internet, as I cannot see it under T&C. On the face of it, it seems to be cheaper than GiffGaffs cheapest unlimited internet offer.

Also, is there anyway to limit the account so you cannot go over the allocated limit of minutes/texts?

I get nowhere near 100 minutes.. but use plenty of data.. so this is an awesome deal, handy since my orange contract is up soon and they annoyerd me by offering me a worse deal as loyalty.

It isnt comparable and doesnt state the amount of money for calls outside of what you use.

At the minute I am on the following on giffgaff for £10 -

250 UK minutes
Unlimited UK texts
Unlimited Mobile Internet
Free calls and texts to giffgaffers

I am considering moving to the following:

For only £5 get 60 UK Minutes, 300 UK texts and a free extra minute for every minute you get called (as long as the call is not from another giffgaff number). Plus, you will still benefit from our free giffgaff to giffgaff calls and texts.

What is also important is what you will be charged if you overuse. As I understand it, Giff Gaffs is cheapest - but please verify yourself.

Is this one just 6 straight deal, or you have to pay 10 and then they return 4 as cashback ?

It says standard T-Mobile T&C's apply.. so im guessing 500mb FUP?

I wonder if this is a 3gb or 500mb fair useage policy.

If Unlimited Data Usage didn't mean 500MB / month this might have been a good deal for those that mainly need data like myself.

Depends what you use data for ... from my understanding the 500MB/month limit is on "streaming data" only - there's no limit on normal web browsing, email etc - plus also I've read that if you exceed the limit then you are just prevented from further "streaming" during peak hours. Big positive of the Tmobile scheme is that you do not get stung for excess usage fees if you go over the limit.

Damn, if only I held off going into the Sim Only 10 with Internet booster contract a few days ago I would have snapped this up.

Hot.

edit: Adding that T-Mobile do allow you to go over 500MB, you don't get charged £1 a day for internet usage if the 500MB is used up, nor does it get throttled either. But don't overdo it as they do monitor usage.

To the Orange subsricber:

I was coming to the end of a 18 month £30pm deal. Called retentions for sim only 30 day deal. Offerred me the following:

100 mins
unlimited texts
500 MB data

for £5.10 per month

I snapped their hand off!! So keep trying to negotiate the deal!

thats pretty impressive, did you have to sign up for 12 months or was this a 1 month rolling contract? My 18month deal ends in exactly one month but I currently get 3gb internet useage a month, will try to haggle.

its a rolling 30 day contract with Orange, but only 500MB

Cracking price! i would want the internet booster, however it is no where near as useful/good as the web n walk version, both in speed and download (and not sure if you can tether on this one either, would like someone to confirm)

Anyone experiencing this very time consuming T- Mobile customer services + fraud department (which is outsourced abroad) .. out of the blue, or randomly, your number just gets suspended and then you have to fax your proof of identity to somewhere unknown on earth (even if it is a UK number) where does your identity information will eventually get leaked to ? Moneysavingsexpert link on this type of problem.

Perfect SIM deal for an iPad or a USB dongle.

Hot from me.

Ordered for my mum :D....HOT

Good with the landline booster but in general not even close to giffgaff in terms of value

well, I'm on giffgaff and to be honest, this is looking rather nice. I have an android phone and only really use the phone itself to make the odd call/text. Giffgaff used to win hands down as internet useage was free - now I notice that my balance is slowly going down because of the very small amounts of data that I'm using. I'm staying with giffgaff for a few months to see exactly what I'm spending, but maybe it's time to leave?

Giffgaff WAS the ultimate for so long, but I'm gonna keep my eyes on this one. Not for everyone perhaps, but definitely hot from me, nice one!
