almost a good phone
Its a brilliant phone. Only 2 things which let it down slightly. battery life (1 and half days) and its a little chunky. Otherwise it is very good.

I prefer it to the HTC Magic and the iPhone as it has a hard keyboard instead of a sh*tty software one. (Although it has that also if you dont want to slide open for some reason)

Also, OP needs to change the retailer. Its not Google.
its not far off an iphone but currently not in the same league
Jeez, shouting...
I've gone for this deal - I'll be very careful with the cashbacks, hopefully I won't get stung.

Regardless, it's free on Combi 35 + WnW and you get £20 cashback, which isn't a bad deal.
trouble everyone has got at the minute is..
The Iphone is streets ahead of any other phone at the minute.
But sooooo expensive if you are like me and dont want to go on o2 cos they are weak!
Thing is, with the G1 is that if you don't stay with t-mobile it's useless for internet after the contract (unless there's a hack come along recently?) similar story with vodafone and the blackberry storm.... I know, I had both recently, both unlocked but total no go's with data.......crafty s*ds!
