£6/mo is a good deal, depending on Tmobile's definition of unlimited.

Seems like a good deal to me, not sure why it's being voted cold.

Given the likely speed of mobile broadband (most people get around 1-2mbps) you're not going to be downloading a great deal and thus 2GB is probably more than you'll ever use...

We do have a fair use policy but ours means that you'll always be able to browse the internet, it's only when you go over your fair use amount that, during peak times, you won't be able to download, stream or watch video clips.

Thus, if you do go over the 2gb limit they will still allow browsing but limit downloads etc. at peak times.

What?

:-D

Still amazes me that advertising 'unlimited' services and unattainable speeds hasn't been properly regulated yet. At least T-Mobile don't charge for going over their unlimited limits.

Even with 2GB a month, this is an amazing deal!

Couple of questions that some of you may be able to help with.
When using abroad there is a note to say that all mobile broadband usage is chargeable. I take it that this is not capped then - i.e. you would not be charged more than say £20-£30 per month... ?
Also, could the sim card be removed from the stick to use in the sim card slot in a Compaq Mini 311 ?

...and (additional question), if this is paid in advance, how do you pay for additional usage (overseas) ? Do you need to register your credit card details ?

What is T Mobile like for mobile internet coverage?

£6.50 per month for 2Gb is not bad, ideal as a backup or when you're often out and about in the UK.
Not sure about coverage, suspect 3 mobile will be better, but will still be much better than 02.
And only tied up for 12 months, not bad!

does this need to be activated or is it activate the moment you buy it?.. because i am interested in it but it isn't really needed right now but in the future defo

You activate it yourself when you first use it:thumbsup:

This is a good deal for 2 gig, but as posted above its hard to use that unless your trying to download and i cant see the point of downloading at speeds u will usually get. But i use my orange mobile bb every day for 3/4 hours just for surfing/ ebay/ hotukdeals/ emails/msn/ect and use about 250 meg a month maximum. Im on the orange 500 meg 18month deal cost me £5 a month but at the time got £60 quidco, so im paying £1.67 a month for my mobile BB.
Orange still do the £5 a month deal you have to be a orange customer, but pay as you go mobile also count as customers just enter a payg mobile and you can get the deal,Quidco paying £40 at the moment so you can get orange BB for £2.77 a month for 18 months.

do you need to open up an account with marshall ward?

"Goes back to pay per day after 365 days."
This quote is from the t-mobile website. What does this mean and is it only applicable if you log onto the net, or will they just charge you per day for owning the dongle? and if there is no contarct how do they get their money?
Do you have to cancel your one year pre-pay once it is up?
