Forgive my ignorance - from what I can see, you need to topup with £10 each month to get free texts for the month. Is that right?

Good deal for PAYG people who spend that each month.

Sadly a £10 credit will easily last me 4 months, so no good for me.

Ideal!

HOT!

Very good find. Theres been a few excellent sim deals floating around at the moment including the virgin: 200 mins unlimited texts £10 and the vodafone 600 mins unlimited texts £10.

Well I have been looking at the different PAYG deals and so far I can not see a better one than 3 specially if you want internet.

For £10 you get all of the following:
- 300 texts (600 texts if you topup online)
- Free 3 to 3 calls
- 150 MB of internet
- Free SKYPE calls (does not use your MB)
- Free Windows Live MSN (does not use your MB)
- BBC Iplayer works via the 3 Network

and the £10 gives you roughly around 50min anytime any network.

All these lasts for 90 days so even if you use your all your credit on the first day you still have all the benefits for the remaining 90 days.

The only downside is the Coverage which is not that great. In my case the coverage at work is great but at home is rubbish but at home I use wifi on my mobile so can't really complaint with all the benefits.

So if you have decent coverage you should try it.

If anybody can tell me a better PAYG deal with intenet than 3 please let me know.

Also if you topup again before the end of the 90 days you get all the benefits agains queuing up after the 90 days.

Or alternatively look at it as 'unlimited texts for the price of 100 with £10 bonus credit' (assuming texts are usually 10p each)

while i agree the 3 deal is good, it is worth noting you get all the skype/msn stuff WITHOUT topping up ever.

They need to change their wording... here are the T/Cs

That's why with our pay as you go offers/SIM, you can enjoy FREE unlimited texts forever. Simply top up £10, and the following month you can start texting without spending a penny of your hard-earned cash. So top up £10 each month to get FREE texts for life! Just think about all the things you could do…The legal stuff you need to knowConnect a new Mates Rates SIM card that you've got (either with or without a phone) from one of our stores, telesales team or website to T-Mobile pay as you go from 1 September to 31 October 2009 and you'll automatically be opted into our Monthly Text Reward.Successfully top-up £10 in a calendar month and we'll give you unlimited free texts to use during the next month. We'll send you a text to let you know you've earned the reward.Providing you have stayed a member of the reward throughout the month we'll add your free texts to your account at one minute in the morning on the first day of the next month. You then have that whole month to use them in the UK. Use your free texts to text customers of any UK mobile network. We'd like to remind you that your terms and conditions also say that you mustn't use our services to do anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we'll decide that you're breaking this condition if you text more than 200 different numbers over the course of the month with your reward. Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this condition. If you do break this condition, we'll disconnect your SIM card from our network without giving you any advance warning. We're afraid that you can only be part of one of our top-up reward offers at any time, so you won't get Little Extras when you join with this offer. If you try to opt in to another top-up reward or buy one of our 30 day Boosters, then you'll have to opt-out of this reward first. If you opt in to another reward prior to making your first top up, you won't get this reward. And if you move price plans to our Text Appeal plan you'll lose this reward. You can opt out of this reward at any time by texting STOP TEXTWEB to 441. Once you've opted out of this reward then you won't be able to opt back in again.

To make things worse, this offer doesn't appear to be available to existing customers either. I'm a long time customer of T-mobile pay as you go and they were great to start with but over the past year especially their deals on PAYG are just getting worse, considering switching, this offer isn't helping.

I moved to ASDA PAYG last month and it's been way better. Customer service is also top notch. This deal is decent but if what someone says, it applies to new customers then that's pretty naff.

Oh, I accidentally hit expired this when I trying to grab scroll, sorry. ._.

I think this is very cold its already been said you have to top up a tenner each month i like my o2 deal 300 free texts each month and surprises with top ups from as little as a fiver

Connect a new Mates Rates SIM card that you've got

Does that mean I can't use this deal with either Text Appeal or the other PAYG option which name escapes me.

I'm using text appeal :x

Purchased a t-mobile phone on wednesday for signal issues, not this deal but I would like to use this deal. I have registered it - it has a mates rates sim card as is required, topped up £10, as required, but have had no text message from t-mobile to say that i will be getting my unlimited texts next month... Do i have to wait until the start of next month to get the text saying 'you have now got unlimited texts for 30 days' or something similar, or should i already have had a text saying that I will be getting them?

Once you topup, within an hour or two you should recieve a text confirming you will recieve your unlimited text allowance next month, if you do not then perhaps you should ring them up and inquire.

this deals is still available

I have been told that T Mobile will switch me to a new plan from August 13th. I do not want to be part of a plan! I use my mobile phone infrequently and I am quite satisfied with topping it up as and when my credit runs low. Can I get out of this 'plan' or will I be forced to find an alternative provider?
