You buy a smartphone to interract with info through its screen though - and the Orange San Francisco has SUCH a better resolution/size screen - so look VERY hard at that as an alternative - plenty of HUKD threads about it.

Android, WiFi, Built in GPS, it looks amazing for £50. Good first smart phone for a kid who's old enough to use one but you don't want to splash out too much in case it gets lost/stolen/broken etc.

Heat.

The Free 6 months internet is great for this type of phone, also it only costs £20 to buy another 6 six months when it expires.

We bought this phone for the wifes Dad, he loves it.

Anyone know if the camera is any good on this?

"Buy the T-Mobile Pulse Mini and get free accessories worth over £50. Offer not available online, please add mobile to your trolley to reserve for store pick-up. Offer ends 21st January 2011."

"This handset must be purchased with £20 airtime, this will automatically be added to your transaction in store."
I think this needs to be added to the phone price, which then takes it to £69.99

Change the title, £69.99 with calltime!

eeeew @ airtime!

Can OP confirm that this does take up to 32GB microSD memory card? Argos states its 16GB

nice find,, bargain android phone

Some places say it has the faster newer MSM7227.
Screen is the same resolution as the HTC Wildfire and the less responsive resistive screen is quite usable. Whilst it does not compare to the San Francisco it is certainly a lot more than a kids phone.

Note that Next.co.uk have it too with no top-up mentioned, and at the same price.

Doesn't say that on the Argos website, and there seems to be confusion as to whether the Pulse Mini has WiFi hardware.

Got one for my son for xmas from T-Mobile with their £30 M&S offer. Has wifi 802.11b/g. Camera is poor similar quality to Orange SF (bought for other son). The touch screen is difficult to use, but you can use the button or built in stylus to navigate. Ideally, needs custom ROM to get the best from it see -

How can you do this? I am just about to finish a 6 month free internet with T Mobile and would love to extend it if possible.

Text 6MONTHWEB to 441 - it will reduce your credit balance by £20

PAYG boosters

thanks, I'll try that.

£50 at next like the above person said but tbh looks crap the phone

can anyone lend me £49.98?

does any one know if this is easy to unlock??

any chance of android 2.2?

I would miss a decent touch screen. The Orange San Francisco seems like a better deal, even though it is more expensive.

If anyone wants a reservation at Middlebrook (Bolton) for collection today, let me know as I can't make it there today

Help, T-Mobile Pulse Mini or Orange San Francisco?

Thanks

The San Francisco is way way better, but it is also double the price. The comparison is unfair on the Pulse. The difference with the SF is that it can easily compete against £200 phones.

Thanks for this, bought one yesterday at Agro's (had to go to a different branch to get the accessories). Great phone, good performance. Really got it for the OS and the 6 month internet!

Hi

Does anyone know if the free internet would work while in France ?? Cheers

Gone back up in price.

It's gone up in price due to increase in VAT

Now back up to £81.69

"Please note item 5184952 has previously been on sale at £51.05.

Current selling price valid until 11/01/2011"

I own the full size pulse and its been a nightmare since day one. spend a bit more and get the san francisco. £30 will save you a year of hassle.
