    Good price, have a Bosch one, which needs a pouch as it came with a metal can, the Bosch feels really fragile too. Purchasing one of these as my go to device and even if it gets a bit of dust on it whilst DIY'ing, wont worry me.

    damn got a Bosch one the other day for £40.
    Can you measure building or tree heights?
    do these measure from the back end of the device, or the point the laser comes from? I assume it must effectively be from the back of it.....reading from the laser start then adding x mm to compensite for item depth

    I'm not sure if the Amazon reviews are real or not, but I'm pretty happy with this £16 purchase (consistent and accurate measurements in a pretty sturdy package and with -potentially- useful advanced features which I doubt I'll ever use).
