Seems a great price. I don't need the bridge however I've not seen the TRV's cheaper at the moment. Been hoping MAazon would drop the price.

The Tado Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit – Vertical (SK-2SRT01VIB01-TC-UK-03) is a simple solution to controlling your energy bill and making life more comfortable. The smart radiator thermostats can be installed on multiple radiators to allow set up of multiple zones within your home, which are controlled from the convenience of your smart phone. The new smart schedules within the Tado app make control of your heating even easier.

The Tado Smart Radiator Thermostats are easy to install, simply replace the old conventional radiator thermostat/valve. The starter kit contains various adaptors to ensure that the smart radiator thermostats are compatible with all standard radiators with thermostatic radiator valves. No tools are required to change the old valves to the new Tado Smart Radiator Thermostats.

The Tado range offers several integration possibilities such as Google Home, Amazon Echo, Apple HomeKit and IFTTT. You can create scenes with Apple HomeKit or use Google Assistant, Amazon Echo or Siri to voice control your heating and create Applets with IFTTT to connect with other smart devices and applications

If you already have a Smart Thermostat - Starter Kit including the Internet Bridge, then you only need Smart Radiator Thermostats, not the Smart Radiator Thermostat - Starter Kit.

What’s In The Box?

- 2 x Smart Radiator Thermostats

- 1 x Internet Bridge

- USB Cable

- Ethernet Cable

- Connectors

- AA Batteries

- 3 different adaptors per thermostat

I've fitted 4 so far in conjunction with the smart thermostat. They are really good in my opinion for a couple of reasons. I can set the temp what I want in certain rooms independently. Example, Living room to 21, bedroom to 18. In addition I can turn rooms 'off' at times of the day when I don't need them thus making the central heating circuit smaller. This results in rooms getting warm quicker and hopefully using less gas.

Seems a great price, been looking for 2 thermostats...
Good price if it's the V3, which it looks like it is. Your product description says horizontal.

Yes it's v3. They have horizontal as well, I copied that. Updated, thanks.
V2 is better than v3 I heard before??

Same features and same physical item? but without a monthly price, just a onetime upgrade?
Good price though
Or is it that v3 is better than v3+

Is it just the bridge that determines what version you have to use?
For example can I have:
v3 bridge
v3 Radiator Thermestat
v3+ thermostat

and still pay the £20 lifetime?

I am not 100% sure but I believe this to be correct. The TRV's are the same, that I am sure of. The thermostat logically is as a v3 user can upgrade to v3+ app support for the £20 therefore running it with a v3 thermostat.

I have a v3+ bridge. I've ordered 2 kits for the TRV's but I may create a new account for the v3 bridge I get and see if it all works with my existing kit. I will then pay the £20.

I will add I am very happy with the 3+ however getting the full geofencing functions for a one off payment appeals.
This might be a silly question, but do you need a smart thermostat too? Or can I just set my thermostat to like 24degC (to make sure it's always "on") and then just let the Tado Smart Radiator control when they actually come on (by opening their valve)?

Also, I can't find anything about a fee that people are talking about.. once I buy this, is there a monthly cost?
You need the thermostat too if you have your own boiler, otherwise there's nothing for the radiator valves to "talk to".
It says two radiator thermostats in the box but I'm wondering if it's actually for the tado° Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit with only one thermostat (listed on Amazon for £69.99). Has anyone confirmed with the Electrical Showroom?

I was thinking the same, the duo starter kit is over £100.
The box, text and discount suggest the twin TRV pack. Ordered, so fingers crossed.

That’s what I’m not sure if I understand. That pack comes with a bridge that I thought means it can talk to an app and HomeKit? So could I use Siri to set the temp and they come on? Or what does the bridge talk to? Surely a starter pack has everything you need, or do you need a thermostat too?

Without the thermostat to control the boiler I think this is how they work. Assuming your boiler/heating is on.... then with the hub to talk/control these you can have them open or close based on a desired temperature. So you could use them to turn a room down or off very easily but having it heat up will depend on the rest of your system. Hope that is helpful.

you can use as is but ideally they partner the therm
I have a nest thermostat for my heating system ,does anyone knows if I can still use them ?
Brilliant thanks OP. Massive fan of Tado, due to the individual radiator controlling. That's two more rooms sorted. Heat.
Does this work pretty well without paying the monthly fee?

yes! The monthly fee is only for the 3+ and it’s the auto geofencing. You get manual geofencing which is comparable with other smart systems

Just received mine. They’ve sent a single pack with bridge v3+ not v3. Different SKU. I’ll be asking for a refund if they cannot supply the right pack
Same problem for me.
They've sent this pack, which is £10 less on Amazon at the moment:

Any chance you can send the screenshots so I can also use them.

I’m going to claim via PayPal. I opened the box already too.

So it’s going to cost them if I need to return it.

Very poor.
