Good price, but earthenware tagine will need a heat diffuser for use on a hob. Cast iron one might be better (but obviously more expensive).

...Nick B
But no different to the 50p pyrex thing you already have.

I'm very doubtful it can be used on a hob at all.

Should come to no harm on an induction hob
It's very hard to get a good price on a tagine. There is a cheap one at Argos too. But a lot of reviews I read say 28cm is too small and to go for the next size up.
Cheaper to buy in mid eastern ethnic type shops

True, but it won't get hot on an induction hob either
I'm going to buy one to complete my collection.
I am tempted as this seems a good price ... and would love to experiment
Oh my goodness - that's Christmastide sorted for Jeffrey, Weffrey and Shaffrey. Normally me and the colonel pick these things up in the bazaars and have them shipped, but this is a beezer deal. Hot plus plus!

It won't work on an induction hob!
nice, thanks
We have one, and they are a bit of a pain to store. Plus I find no difference to using a cast iron casserole dish (or pyrex as above), apart from I can cook a larger meal in the casserole dish.

Is the shape meant to do anything during cooking? In my opinion, it doesn't, as meals turn out just as good in a regular casserole dish.
3 for 2 in Sainsbury also priced at £15 and comes with spice jars.
Went to morroco this year on a hot deals ryan air spec. totally converted to tagine. need to get one vote hot.
