what do you do with them? Are they just an ingredient or can you eat on their own?

Great added to any type of sauce, esp curry.

I use like any veg, usually as a side. Or, as part of a main if cooking a one-pot oven baked dish.

Also, they are a nice dish on their own (in a sauce) for vegetarians/vegans, served with rice, pasta, or garlic naan/flay breads.

Absolutely love them, I buy them at Sainsbury's for £3, which is quite decent given they're unpopular in the UK.

    Prefer fresh.
I find frozen ones get soggy once cooked.

Fry them in 2 parts before cooking and they dont get soggy. If you fry them all in one go not fry at all then they are definitely going to be soggy
