Might not be everyone's favourite cuppa - but for those who might have had this before or know of it - they would certainly vouch for it. One of the finest black tea in my view.

Usually always around the £4 mark in the Asian shops and even in the big Tesco's and Asda close to where we are.

More from Tesco's website

  • Loose Leaf Black Tea
  • Enjoy the perfect taste of a priceless cup of tea
  • Ordinary teas usually provide either Strength or just Flavour. New Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tea gives you the much-coveted perfect balance of both strength and exquisite flavour. This makes it a priceless cup of tea. Only Taj contains the Finest tea leaves that gives you strong taste, great flavour and an unmatchable tea experience. New Taj Mahal - a perfect tea, beyond compare...
  • No wonder Taj has been a preferred choice of the discerning as a symbol of the best of India.
  • Since 1869 Brooke Bond's specialists have selected tender leaves from the best gardens to scientifically and ceremonially bring nature's gift to you.

Hope it helps someone

Darjeeling tea?

Not sure if that was a question in the sense of what is Darjeeling tea or something else? If the former then en.wikipedia.org/wik…tea if the latter then please specify what you meant
You mention it in your opening statement, yet ingredients on Tesco website mention just black tea.

Darjeeling tea?

No, it’s not Darjeeling. It’s an everyday blend of black teas.

Not sure why Tesco don't mention it - but to the best of my knowledge it is a blend of Darjeeling tea. I have anyways amended the OP now, as I don't want to confuse anyone.

My bad - I should have just gone with the description on Tesco's website rather than applying my knowledge of having been drinking this tea brand for almost 2 decades now

Taj Mahal (like Twinings or any other brand) produce many types of teas including Darjeeling blends. This offer however is for one of their black tea blends.
Love this label .. have some heat op!(highfive)

There are some organic tea leaves grown in the West Country I can’t seem to remember exactly where as it was on a program may be last year..
so we can grow it in the Brexit Era of UK 🇬🇧 now
Great spot, OP! Just my Cuppa!! Love this tea, and will be stocking up.

Quite possible yes - I did buy 6 packs of this last night - usually these are either sourced through the superstores in your area or the closest warehouse and could well be out of stock there - not sure.
