Take official practice driving theory tests - for free

49
Found 7th Oct
If you're learning to drive, or an experienced driver and want to test your knowledge, you can take a free mock driving theory test online via the DVSA.

There are four separate tests for car drivers and motorcyclists (50 questions each), as well as for lorry drivers and bus/coach drivers (100 questions each). You can take any of the practice tests as many times as you like, but each one can take up to an hour to complete.

That makes no sense, why would you save up for a divorce if your partner …That makes no sense, why would you save up for a divorce if your partner is gonna take half your stuff? You're just giving them more money.

Was that the one where the guy is turning left? If so, I got that question wrong for the same reason!

Sure she'll get the car anyway

This should be compulsory for licensed drivers too. So many people seem to have forgotten what the signage and road markings are for.

Nooo way.

Cars are getting much safer yet road fatalities are increasing - evidence that driving standards are falling. Lack of roads policing can't help. Cheap loans seem to be putting younger drivers into high performance cars too and they don't seem to realise that urban roads aren't the place to 'exercise' them - 20 somethings in M3s are a recipe for disaster.

Don't worry - half of these cars will be repossessed in the next year or two as interest rates and the cost of living shoot through the roof, and all these youngsters with not a fiver between them but somehow all driving brand new Audis and Beamers on ridiculous lease plans and living in rented accommodation with massive credit card debts suddenly get brought back down to earth.

"How old must you be to supervise a learner driver?"

Badly worded. Should be "what's the minimum age"

And yet you got 47.

48/50. I learnt what a white stick with a red band means.

I love how the answers to half of the questions are along the lines of 'sound your horn' or 'speed up and flash your headlights'. Inspired by the Audi drivers out there I guess.

I don't think there has been much change in driving standards or new vehicle safety over the last couple of years so a 4% increase since the all time low (4 years ago) probably mirrors the increase in vehicles on UK roads. Having driven for the past 30 years, I think there are more bad drivers now but only because there are more drivers; I see no evidence that the proportion of bad drivers has increased.

Already posted.

Blimey 49 out of 50!

11/50. Don't understand it at all, I've been driving my taxi for years...

Aren't everyone doing that these days?

Learning to drive I do recommend looking up all kinds of things on YouTube, I recently passed first time and my 40 hours in the car were certainly helpful, and gave me the feel of driving, but I think what I learnt in YouTube was about half the battle.theres videos on manouveres, safety, etc, and also whole videos of actual tests.
