For the happy folks jumping on the blue button, the next best prices for this title:

Premium edition - £14.99 (Amazon, dispatched in 1-4 weeks)

Collector's edition - £29.85 (Zavvi/The Hut) or £29.99 (Base/dvd.co.uk/101cd)

How the hell has this got negative marks, seriously. Awesome game in a classic series. Hot OP, very hot!

mod

Hot from me too

Brilliant price. very tempted just for the memorabilia

How the **** this is not explosively hot I do not understand.

There's a big sale on a Telltale at the moment. It might be cheaper there. I think it was also cheaper on Steam but only on a 75% off sale or something. That wouldn't include any memorabilia but you know what people are like.

Yes. Idiots :)From Telltale - $34.99 (about £21.50)From Steam - £24.99It … Yes. Idiots :)From Telltale - $34.99 (about £21.50)From Steam - £24.99It was 66% off on a daily deal about a week ago, which would've made this about £8.50

From Telltale it is only: $8.75
Stop trying to mislead people to boost your own heat...

This is a good deal though if you want it on DVD and with the physical extras.

A slight apology then is in order then, as the discount on Telltale's site doesn't display the discount unless you add it to the cart.

Your accusation of misleading people though, and for the motivation of boosting heat for my own gain somehow, is frankly pathetic. As was the cold vote just now (although of course I have no idea if that was just a coincidence or not).

I thought the Telltale sale was just DLC -- not the awesome CE.

Did you not read the last line of my comment?

I did. It has no bearing on my rebuttal to the rest of your comment.

You called people idiots, and then when told why people might be voting cold, you went out your way to state that Telltale was more expensive.

Which you claimed was me trying to mislead people for the sake of boosting my profile. But then, what I was led to compare this to is very much a different product (barebones download vs boxed copy + extras) so I'm not sure it even warranted a mention now. So my point is still as solid as it ever was and hasn't been effectively refuted: This is the best deal available for either of these items, and until Amazon price matched the premium edition today no other retailer had come close to either pricepoint.

So yes. People voting this cold will have to bear me calling them idiots. I'm sure they can bear the indignity of a total stranger calling them that (they've been called a lot worse I'm sure!). And hey, sometimes I can be just as fallible as these people; there's certainly nicer ways to put my point across. But my only real regret entertaining this conversation at all is that more people will inevitably downvote this now, not because there's a better deal available, but just to stick it to the mean idiot-caller responsible for the thread. Because that's how people tend to behave.
