Another poor port, the GameCube version is still the only one that runs at 60fps.

FPS doesn't mean great port or bad port. Time will tell if it really is. There is an argument to be made if it even needs to be 60fps.

If they had Symphonia 2 remastered together as a 2 in 1 then would had been awesome (edited)

Switch tax strikes again - think I bought it (not the first time either, had it on GameCube and ps3 I think ) for steam for my deck for like 2-3 quid

Switch tax might be real, but not in this case, this is a new rerelease of the game, and a hard physical copy, and you are comparing it with the best ever price the original release got on Steam for a digital copy?

Far from it; this remaster is being sold for the same RRP on all consoles, and it's only hte Switch version that we've seen on offer significantly below that price so far. (edited)

Awful port, better off playing the GC version
You can't possibly know that when it's not released until next year

Erm yes I can? If you put in the minimum effort you'd know this is a remaster of the ps2 version which is locked at 30 fps. The GC version is 60 FPS and isn't the base of the remaster

As someone who loves the original. I'm going to give this half-baked remaster a pass. I still have access to the original so will just play that if I need to. If I'm desperate it is already on steam for something like £3.99 last I looked. They didn't even try with the official artwork, suggests this switch game comes on a disc......  (edited)

Barclays declining payment, despite confirming transaction! 🥲

no idea why this wouldn't include both games, when they already remastered both in a double pack on ps3.... although the first is the only one worth playing to be fair.

Probably because the cost of doing the same treatment on the second game (which was really poorly received, mind you) simply wasn't worth it.

Great price, much cheaper than everywhere else. While it is grim we dont get the 60fps version like on the gamecube, I am glad we are getting the game on switch and a physical copy (edited)
