Spotted this in ASDA Living Crown Point Retail Park, Leeds. Cheapest I have seen them elsewhere is £69.99 in Tesco. I think this is probably because the product is now discontinued.

Note that to update you need the appropriate USB cable. The only sources for these as yet are Ebay or purchasing an official update pack.

Download the USB drivers and Talex lite update software from links above. All you need other than that is the USB cable.

Here is what the Novus GPS site used to look like about a week ago 216.239.59.104/sea…=uk Although the site no longer links to updates I have been read this is due to some teething problems and should be back to normal after christmas.

Only place I can fnd a cable at the moment is here activegps.co.uk/tal…htm Note that one also comes with the Lite subscription packs so if you can find a cheap one of those with a short subscription period you'll get the cable you need.

Thanks anewman. I`ve downloaded the drivers and update software. The cable source you quote is out of stock at the moment so I`ll wait to see if any appear on ebay.

I can't get the update links or usb link to work - using Firefox - anyone help pls?

The software links seem to work here, maybe try a different browser. If you have windows XP or later you should have no problems opening the zip file, if you have earlier you may need winzip to unzip the file.

Excellent price for this good piece of equipment , also good to know there is now free updates for it which I would say makes it a win win deal.

The data cable seems to be £15.99 :x
Anyone know of a cheaper source?
