  • A cask strength bottling from the Talisker distillery, bearing no age statement
  • This was named for the Isle of Skye sits on the line of latitude 57 Degrees North
  • This is deceptively smooth for a whisky at this strength, it still has the the pepper and chili trademarks of other Talisker whiskies

There's others strengths on offer at cut down price on the thread underneath it on Amazon.

not a big fan of Talisker, has an odd aftertaste not found in any other single m I have had, that in fairness was not this exact whisky but would be curious if any one else has noted this

Fantastic find OP

Don't be put of by the clueless, that will inevitably vote this cold.

£45 for a no age statement whisky seems abit extreme.

Despite being NAS, this seems a great price for what is a very well reviewed whisky. I'm kind of off whisky at the moment or I'd be all over it.

Its just a matter of liking different things and having different tastes, i think. That's what's great about whisky, there are so many different types to try and enjoy ... or to not enjoy and avoid in future.

Tastes like burnt mud water......give me a litre bottle of Teachers anyday....

I guess it does have a certain finish but I like it. Oban is famous for its finish but I am not fond of its aftertaste. Horses for courses and all that.

Aberlour A'bunadh is NAS and is one of my all time favourites.

I wouldn't get too hung up on a whisky being NAS. There are often older whiskies in NAS blends. Johnny Walker Blue Label doesn't have an age statement, but some of the whisky in that is 60 years old.

Bought this at the distillery earlier this year after trying 3. It was the best for my taste. I didn't thinks I paid over £60 for it though.
Good price if it is to your taste especially as it takes a fairvsplsxh of the H2O!
Hot from me.
