would rather wake up with my head nailed to the carpet and be forced to eat my own eyes than ever go back to talktalk
talk-talk isn't that great as what I have experience, the package is says either 17Mb/s, 38Mb/s or 76Mbps but you actually get around 11Mb/s even for Fast Broadband.
Based on my past experience with Talk Talk I would advise anyone to stay well away, and in any event isn't 17Mb a bit pokey these days?

I've had the faster fiber with them for the last 3 years - no issues whatsoever.

Broadband is anything up to 17Mb, the 38 and 76 are fiber

never had a problem with TalkTalk myself, been with them about 4 few years now, I pay £27 a month for Fibre & £5 for free calls from the landline.

The only gripes I have is that when you ring customer services it's always off-shore and I do struggle to understand them sometimes and the equipment they supply is on the cheaper end of the scale, think Bush....I already had a Netgear Fibre router & Humax Youview box so didn't need their equipment anyway...

But they have resolved any issues I've had reasonably quickly, I moved to Fibre about 6 months ago and it was seamless.

People use similar comments for all of them, BT, Virgin, Sky etc etc.

Add another £9 and they will throw in the Sky Sports Package, a 250 mins 500mb mobile Sim, etc etc.

The fact that one of the Biggest Data Breaches in History was with talk Talk & the Well Reported Dire sorry it's Not us Tuff...response to its Customers (Many Customers that is) as published Numerous times in The Guardian Consumer section many Times over the last 3 hrs makes this Company in my Opinion Not Secure.. it's a No No No...

It's not just the broadband because broadband works fine (sometimes) but the customer service and the language barrier was poor. They also charge you wrong bill so you need to call them as well and internet cgoes up and down.

I was with them for few years only because it was free I had to call them every 3 months to add credit to my bill and I had to argue 1 hour and call 3 to 4 reps as they would never add the credit so I needed to speak to the manager who read the notes and use to agree but it was a mission
I don't have any complaints about talktalk, it's just poor speeds at a poor price. Cold.
I have unlimited broadband unlimited landline and mobile calls plus youview box £20 a month 18 month contract

Yep thats the one I have, had a few issues to start with , but the broadband is fine , a steady 37 mbps and 8mbps upload ,...... but bear in mind the Talk Talk sports package is only SD...
Comes up at £19.95 and an 18 month contract length? A 12 month contract puts the price to £27?
Same **** as sky basic Line from BT. I'm lucky if I get 13 meg on sky. That's if the router actually stays on for a hour.

Would have been a good deal had the bandwidth not been capped at meagre 150kbps. You can not stream anything really forget about surfing respectably on two devices. Bad people.

But thank you for posting the deal.
Well they tell you what speed you should expect.

BT having that speed controlling monopoly on that last leg from the road box to the house, so whos fault was it?
The worst experience of my life, the service is bad and unprofessional customer service.

Even for free I don’t want it in my house, you sign the contract and you are done.
I've been with TalkTalk for years and have no criticism. I get 76Mb down and 18Mb up and it's been faultless.
    Worst internet provider ever....
Never had a problem with talktalk. I have fibre broadband 28Mb/Plus TV/unlimited calls including to mobiles/Sky sports and entertainment package all for £46 per month and also have 3 sim cards 2 with unlimited txts/1000 mins/2gb data for £18 per month and 1 free sim with 200 mins/ 500 txts/ and 500mb data

Agree with you, still one month to go. Never been blackmailed from company like that.

BUT is the broadband speed determined by talktalk or is it determined by the original BT landline or the speed it is capable of doing via the landline system?
