Why cold, it seems to be quite cheap.
After cash back, you only need to pay 92.75 for one year landline and broadband.
If someone knows a better deal, please state here

pet2000 the co after cash back is 7.92 per month and it has been clearly mentioned in the post
Quidco cash back should be treated as a bonus and not as part of the deal.

Plenty of evidence that not all Quidco claims track.
Terrible internet get used to losing packets and disconnection.
Wouldnt go anywhere near talk talk even if they were free. worst broadband provider ive ever used.
You will quite probably have problems when you switch provider in the future. Also in my experience the broadband speed varied considerably even during off peak hours.

Anyone had experience of them honouring Quidco payment? Not voted even though I am sure my case was not isolated.
Leaving them is a problem as most other companies only accept BT landline and unless you going to pay BT to re-connect.......then all these savings are lost in the re-connection fee
I would rather put pins in my eyes than use TalkTalk again

Their call centre is probably the most incompetent of anyI have had the misfortune to contact - total idiots that can only read from a script
Just left Talktalk, which has been difficult to do because of LLU or whatever its called. Very poor company to deal with. They tried to charge my mother an elderly woman £50 for a so called internal fault on her BT wiring, the phone cable comes in and goes straight into a master socket and nothing else plus BT had actually replaced the line due to water getting in creating broadband issues when it rained, they used a small crane to replace the cable from the telephone pole. Yet talktalk viewed it as an internal house fault.

What do you mean here? Surely Talk Talk is no different from o2/Sky/Orange/Be etc etc when it comes to the landline? Or do they do something 'funky' with the landline which I'm not aware of?
have heard sooo many different pro's and con's on talktalk, to be fair A LOT are negative but are from a while ago. heard good things quite recently though so not sure which way to go. and with the youview box, maybe tempted!!
their "one month free trial" I got talked into trying ended up costing me close to £100 about a year back! I think they wanted to pressure me into staying, but the service was terrible in my area, comparable to dial-up! And the after sales team that I spoke to were so rude when I said I didn't want to stay!

swore i would never use them again. Not that my experience with TalkTalk has anything to do with the deal, and therefore I'm not voting, but for what it's worth I would tell anyone thinking about using them to avoid.

I switched to Talk Talk at the end of February 2012. Quidco paid out but it was £20 less than what was advertised at the time. I raised a query and received the extra £20 last month.

Only problem I have had with Talk Talk is that the router they supplied was rubbish, it kept dropping my internet connection. I switched back to using my 5 year old Sky router and had no problems since.
do o2 match the deal after mac code is generated!!!!!

Did o2 match the deal or not ?
I've had no problems since I joined. Customer services promptly answer the phone. I have a theory that it may be a better more reliable service if your local exchange has talk talk equipment installed ie check it has LLU installed in the exchange. Other wise if it goes down the Openreach/BT pipe the service gets strangled and given low priory. At the end of the day they have 4m customers and have had the wake up call after bad publicly in the past etc. I'll remain open minded.
Cold from me...Don't expect the cashback from talktalk. and the service as well is very bad. sometimes annoying, no speed, interrupted bb when the phone line in use etc. i am not 100% sure that everyone on talktalk experience these issues. if you are prepared for all these...then go for it.
I managed to get my cash back but customer services is pants! my connection speed halved after moving from o2 and it took an age for talk talk to accept that there was a problem, best option is request an engineers visit. The D-link router supplied with this option may be okay for majority of people but if like me you need to port forward then the best option is to buy another router as the firmware on the Dlink-2680 does not allow you to setup! and talk talk forum 'gurus' don't have a clue. IMO its a cheap deal but for love or money I will not be renewing.
Seems quite a good deal, but you will suffer if you ever have problems and need to contact them. One department doesn't know what another dept is doing. As soon as my contract is finished, I will leave, because the cheap prices are not worth the frustration of dealing with people who treat you like an idiot. Pay a bit more & go with someone with UK call centres that listen to what you are trying to tell them!!
