TalkTalk without doubt stand head and shoulders above all comers as the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Think long and hard before before getting involved with these cowboys.
We have been with them since 2006 on the faster broadband package and get 20-25mbs download peed and 9mbs upload rate. Dont use the online chat it is a bloody nightmare. In summary Ok when all works fine but if you need to ring customer service abandon all hope and get the paracetamol ready

Exactly this, I’ve been with them for about 5 years and great value .... unless it goes wrong and then It’s an absolute nightmare, fortunately I’ve only had to contact customer services a handful of times

Just wait till comrad Corbin gives us super fast broadband for all. It'll be bad. And we won't have any alternatives. When that day comes we'll dream of the days we had companies like Talk Talk.

Corbyn has my vote. Time for a shift in policy and the way we treat us ordinary joes. Banks made the recession happen and ruined our services with tory austerity. JC and many ordinary people want the people of the land to now be supported instead of the city of London
A friend of mine recently got talktslk talk 67mb and is getting about 69mb in speed testing over WiFi, so good on that front. Not working very well with the Samsung smart tv though, keeps disconnecting and needing login details to be re-entered. Changed the dns setting to a free alternative and will see if that helps.

It will only show up if you live in an area with G.Fast available to you. It's not been a particularly big roll out so far so OP is in the minority being able to order this package.

The G.Fast 150 and 300 packages (and even better their own UFO network gigabit package) are actually pretty damn reliable and if you can order it in your area, you will likely see speeds close to what they are advertising. Sometimes faster.

It's cheaper than Virgin, less restrictive than Virgin, and TalkTalk will often give you a way more impressive upload speed too.

I've got exactly the same issue with my Philip's android tv. Ever since I upgraded my speed and they sent out a new super router. It's very annoying

Labour failed to properly regulate our banks, and Gordon Brown vetoed Barclays' rescue package for Lehman Bros whose collapse turned market pressures into a full blown worldwide super recession......don't be fooled by their promises, they simply can't pull it off.

Gawd help us if that Shyster ever gets in . I remember that last time they were in Huge pay rises for nurses and doctors 15% a year council tax increases but i suppose all the benefit scroungers and interlopers who pay diddly squat are laughing all the way to the pub.

Lehman brothers was over $600bn in debt. No UK government in the right mind would agree for its UK taxpayers to take on over $600bn of US bankers debt. The tories have been cutting services for years and as soon as we have talk of a general election they change their tune and all of a sudden want to give back to the public. On the subject of broadband we are at the bottom end of the table in Europe for broadband speeds. Maybe a change in government is what we need to finally get the investment we need in public services and broadband infrastructure.

Gordon Brown has admitted that he got it wrong. Maybe a change in government is what's needed, but until there's an actual realistic option to the Tories, they'll be staying put. To vote for Marxists like Corbyn and McDonnell is dangerous. Socialism simply doesn't work.

He has never said this. It is not the UK governments role to rescue US banks and the UK cannot be held responsible for the collapse of Lehman brothers. If the US government cared so much about Lehman brothers they would have bailed them out just as we did with our own UK banks

And you’re council tax is still rising YES. Massive shortages of doctors and nurses as well as skilled workers...thanks to the tories but let’s blame Corbyn and his vastly changed Labour Party for the ill’s of previous leaders. Honestly give the guy a chance and we can make our union stronger and avoid unnecessary wars and billions wasted on defective foreign policies. Time to make Britain stronger...go Jezza go
