Talk Talk don't do it
Talk talk...No No

Avoid like the plague
Worst call centre that I have ever had to deal with, had constant problems with the service and dreaded having to call up useless staff that could not use common sense when trying to resolve issues.
I like talktalk. Always been good for me

don't forget Quidco - 115 quid on offer in addition to the Amazon Prime. But because talktalk do 18 mths min contracts any cashback offers are dissipated, i.e 115 divided by 18 is 6.39/mth whereas if it was a 12 month contract it would equate to 9.58/mth. Still a good offer TBH.

Nothing but trouble, poor internet speed, loss of connection and then wound up paying £200 to leave
I had fibre 38 mb downloads speeds but never got more than 12 -19 mb internet kept going off quite often. Poor customer service . I left and had to pay £89

My ex has had a total nightmare with talk talk over the last month. Suddenly sent her an email saying thanks for staying with them while moving home. They disconnected her and had her down as upgrading to fibre. Absolute nightmare. Hours upon hours on the phone. Complaints, managers, home move department. Lost her home number, used for work. Lost landline for almost two weeks, and of course internet down. No apologies, no explanation, no compensation, just mixed lies. To confirm, she hadn't requested anything, contacted them, or any home move planned, lived at that address with same phone number for twelve years.
They are cheap for a reason.

I also have fibre and always get around 37-38 mb. Had it for about 4 years now and never an issue. Only rang customer service to get a price reduction when fibre has offered at £19.95 earlier in the year and no problems. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones
Had TalkTalk for 4 years, 2 of which have been faster fibre. Always had the advertised speed as we only live a stones-throw from the local exchange. Most people who experience poor speed likely live far away from theirs.

Customer service is a nightmare though - seriously, the worst I've ever encountered. Waiting for a good upgrade deal from them on BF.

Can't be worse than virgin media
I like talktalk. Always been good for me
Dont sign up with them absoloute nightmare, Customer Services are appaling.
I have to add that I’m with Talk Talk and they said I would get a guaranteed minimum of 52-57mbps, constantly experience nothing less then 70+ no matter time of day!

Haven’t had to deal situ customer service yet so can’t comment on that - I think it’s fair to say with regards to internet speed it’s just YMMV
I've recently signed up to them as Virgin constantly increasing prices. I've had no problems at all and get a constant 70mbs even at peak times and the router has better range than my Virgin media hub.
I have talk talk ultra Fibre optic and get over 2GB Gbps. Talk talk aren't all bad. I've had them for over 2 years now

The worst speed I've ever had form them was about 500Mbps.. But that's ultra Fibre optic, not the standard Fibre
Very happy with my TT VDSL2 service.
I’ve been with them about 4 years and get pretty much the average speed. All in all they’ve been pretty good and I’ve just renewed.

I’ve had to call customer service about 3 or 4 times during this time and as said above that is really painful though. They really won’t deviate from script and getting anything resolved is a nightmare
All the usual negativity about TalkTalk - been with them for years, pretty much problem free. Always able to negotiate good new deal at a good price (£21.95pm at the moment for fast fibre + 24/7 free landline and mobile calls + free call forwarding and various other extras BT charge the earth for). New router pretty much at the drop of a hat if they upgrade.

What's not to like? Good speed, good reliability, good price. Don't believe all the bollox from those who don't really have a great deal of experience of it. Way better than BT and Plusnet - I've tried them all!
i am with them for 6 years and no problem. i always contact cs through chat and all was great. too bad they won't reduce my renew price.... or let me get the new customer price. every years i always negotiated the price and end up with good deals. but this year no

I had the same issue with renewal and left to join BT. BT now not willing to give the same discounts as they do to a new customer so time to look for a new provider or move back to TT. Never had major issues with TT or BT.
Good deal - thank you for posting!

I didn't have very good speed with vodafone and moved to Talk Talk. I am not sure why, but the speed I get from Talktalk is significantly better and a more reliable connection (with wifi turned off, so running through my own internal router). The line is the same and Open Reach said there were too many errors with the internal wiring for a high speed, yet with TalkTalk I'm getting upwards of 40Mbs.

So - the quality of the broadband is better than Vodafone for me. The service with Talktalk though - very bad indeed. Basically, if anything goes wrong, then TalkTalk is not the one to go with - but purely speed of broadband, yes.
I can't see this deal on talktalk's website at all, although I can see it mentioned in the small print.
I'm currently on Vodafone and am interested in this deal. Am I right in thinking I can get this for £15.17/month?

£25.95*18 months = £467.1
Topcashback - £115
Amazon Prime (I'm currently a member so free additional year @ £79) - £79
£273.1 total /18 months = £15.17

I agree. It's not easy to find, it seems to come and go on there main page. I checked a couple of days ago and it was there and now it isn't. Yet I saw the advert for it on TV this morning. If anyone is having problems and wants the deal then it may be worth a live chat to them?

I also with Vodaphone and would be interested to know the answer to this.

I've just seen that they are now doing a Black Friday deal of unlimited super fast fibre for £21.95 pm (18months) if that suits anyone better.
Very good deal😁
Can't complain much about customer service after brief experience - I am previous user of Plusnet and BT.
Bit of a hassle waiting but nothing excessive and definitely waited longer elsewhere and long story short signed up to a faster broadband no TV earlier, then realized I should sign up for Broadband and TV to actually get free prime.
Customer service said I would have to return the router which just arrived today and wait for new one and my date of switch would change as they have to make new order. Told them in that case I want to cancel as I see it pointless hassle (that and Vodafone broadband deal also looks tempting), got switched to cancellation and been offered to stay on my current contract and get Prime anyway.
Whole call from start to finish took 15 minutes so not that bad.
