holy smokes, the same deal that sky did a week ago! however with sky if there is a fault they will send a bt open reach engineer, with talk talk they will try rip you off £35+ and send their own contractors, who will steal someone elses line :P

may be you are right. the deal is for those one who changes supplier every year like me. my sky contract was over so this was the best alternative I found. I hope I don't have to use the £35 contractoer

Some may prefer SSE, £12 a month for 18 to 24 months with £52.20 Topcashback.

TalkTalk may be value for money, but for the low-medium user, not for me but voted not

sign up to these talktalk muppits and you'll be sorry. Worst customer service, worst internet, and the biggest hassle you'll have for a while. After the first time i was with them i said never again then stupidly, driven by the price, i signed up again, and that was even more hassle than the first time.

I guess this is good for folk with sky already otherwise sky works out much cheaper

TalKTalk is definitely has the worst service if you have any problems it is automated and you never get to speak to a person. TalKTalk definitely don't talk

talk talk = no no no

As far as I am aware, you cannot get the £100 love2shop voucher as well as the cashback - it is one or the other.

well I have got cashback confirmation in my tcb account and got email from talk talk about £100 card so hopefully both should stand.

considering I've been with them for over 4 years never have I not been able to get through to a human. yes they usually go through a script but if you ask to speak to a manager they will happily put you through to one or get one to call you back. I had initial teething problems but on a whole they've been fine quite happy to stay with them.

Have you actually ever taken out a line with talk talk? from my experience the engineers that come out are BT engineers hence the charge plus I think I remember it being £50 I was never offered £35 but they said they would refund if a fault was found. Besides BT totally messed up my line when they installed it so I got free broadband and calls for my first month.

Same here. Been with them for 8 years and can always get through to the manager if I am unhappy about an aspect of their service. And I never get throttled; I download a lot!

You wrote eveything I was going to say! Talk Talk is terrible quality service avoid at all costs

I have TalkTalk and cannot fault them.

I have Talk Talk too.
They answer the phone whenever I call.
You get great deals with customer retentions on each contract renewal.
They don't want to discount their smallest bundles but go up one and they will discount it cheaper than their cheapest deal.
BT engineers are sent.
Routers are actually really good. I currently have the TalkTalk Huawei HG635 VDSL 802.11ac router.
Gets 4 out of 5 stars on TechRadar.
You get to buy line rental saver also.
The only issue I have come across is that they can't provide a static IP address.
Can't really fault them.
