I get 1.4 GB data and I am always on the internet and still cant consume 1.4 GB. Reason is " Its slowest internet on the planet, not even 3G".

good deal I've already bought all 5 sims otherwise I would have snapped this up.

looks like £40 cashback via Quidco if I'm understanding that correctly says SIMO contracts.

I bet it's not as slow as Virgin mobiles 3g!

Its slower!

Had a TT sim for 3 years only for the calls & text element. Did have 1gb data but it never worked anywhere so now have the lowest package available.

If you want unlimited data I suggest you look past TT....you will regret it if you sign up hoping to save £2-£3

And its 2G..

I had enough with talk talks poor landlind service.

I know some people seem to be lucky and dont have issues, but the unusable service I recieved is enough to prevent me from going back.

that said, you have to already be a customer for this deal, so presumably anyone taking up on it will already know if theyre happy with the service...in which case may be ok.

I personaly, would rather pay a few quid extra and use 3 network with 4g included.

All down to where u are.

Talktalk 3g is effectivly 3.5g (hsdpa) around our way (lincolnshire).

Personally think the £7.50 a month (2gb data/700mins/unlimited texts) is better deal.

This is a great deal, especially as it's only a 30 day rolling contract, for a very select few.

Only buy this if...

- You're already suffering with Talktalk home broadband and are locked into a contract so can't switch.
- You live in an area where Vodafone 3G coverage actually exists, and isn't so slow it's unusable.

At least they're no longer JUST for Talk Talk customers. You can buy them with tehir broadband package apparently. can someone confirm?

talktalk is rubbish slow service switched to sky now much better. mobile service is rubbish as well

TalkTalk use O2 now.

Since when?

TalkTalk use O2 now.

I honestly wish they would.

My talktalk broadband used to be very reliable (though slow at peak times).

Since upgrading to fibre, its now over 40mb, but less reliable. (but cheap)

Wifes mobile service is good, has "H" 3g, but dosnt use it enough to give honest and reliable opinion.

That article is from November 2014, Talktalk has been using O2 network for a few months now.

It is not 2G, I have 'H' 3G with 6MB download speed where I live. They are using O2 network now. I used to get 2MB download speed when they were using Vodafone network. I am very happy with the service I get and I have been a talktalk customer for almost 7 years.

Sorry to say but you are wrong.

There is still no date as yet to when the changeover will take place.

talktalkmembers.com/t5/…330

They will move to O2 from November onwards so that 4g can be offered to customers

If its as reliable as their internet, I'll pass

Shame it's on Vodafone's joke of a 3G network.

I doubt it will stay unlimited when O2 is used from November...

Wouldn't touch anything to do with TalkTalk. Cold.

Never had fault with TT mobile for past 2 years.

I appreciate everyone has their own experiences, but both my wife and I have been on TT sim only deals for about 3 years. We've never really had much to complain about; calls, texts and data are all running as we'd expect. Mobile internet speeds always seem fast except in known black spots - expected. I would recommend them (and I have).

A few years back I vowed never to have anything ever to do with TalkTalk again, they were the worst company I had ever dealt with, so much so I still can't forgive them and it wouldn't even tempt me if it were open to everyone and half the price.

I'm on TT (Vodafone network) and have HSDPA just fine.

Also, can use the Vodafone short codes, i.e. to completely disable answer phone.

The only positive of me being on TT is that I would never ever consider Vodafone as mobile provider in future!

Talk talk telephone customer service can suck. Their online customer service executives (OCEs) are GREAT, however they're limited in what they can do on the mobile side unfortunately.

What is HSDPA

I've got no problem with TT. Phone, BB and TV is spot on. Got a decent 3g sim only deal with virgin foir mobile though.

Still voted hot.

talk talk are so so so cheap but their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. either every single one of their agents is incompetent or they are trained to lie to customers.

Thanks op.

I was on an 30 day XL tariff getting 2,000 mins, unlimited texts and 4gb data for £11.25 a month so for an extra 75p I'll now get unlimited everything and won't have to worry about the price going up after 12 months.

It could now go up after 30 days

on TalkTalk mobile, never had any problems whatsoever, great service, the network and performance is no different at all from Vodafone, which fair enough probably doesn't offer the extra few percentage uk mobile coverage but I don't drive round the full country either! this is a great deal, gonna check it out myself, see if I can move off my 4gb a month tariff onto this.

I've cancelled the upgrade after seeing that tethering is not allowed, I don't use tethering much but it's nice to have it available for when I do need it.

Get it if you would like to experience zero G. Yes zero as this is the amount of data you are able to get. Absolutely rubbish. You are unable to use any internet based service. No YouTube, no viber, watsap , fb. In short nothing works.

Is this 2GB Data because if it is it's gonna be bad

aarontufft

I get between 5-37mbps down and 0.35-1.98 up. Sadly, I'm tied for another 13 months!

Re the op's deal, today I was told by TT sales that it was a 12 month contract and they used Vodafone.
