Nothing wrong with my connection. Customer support from the forums and ceos office when required is good.

Personally I think there miles better then sky as when they left me disconnected for a week as they put the order through wrong they just said don't worry about it as we won't charge you for it.
For well over 4 weeks I had No Internet after length calls they AGREED for me to break my contract. 18 months later they were still calling me for Billing period. yet I payed my bill. Surprise I get a debt collection letter again they cleared it. They Never go away! And all the while your repeating yourself with lengthy Indian call centres. Sending you around and around in circles.

I'm actually in the process of moving from John Lewis to Plusnet (I know they're one and the same) but I looked at this whilst making the decision. I'd heard TalkTalk were dubious and thanks to posters above for confirming.

No you pay for upto 39mbs. Line quality and how far you are from your local factor will dictate how fast you can actually get.,
The worst company I have ever been with I lost connection most once it went it would usually go several times a day

Why would you need both? Just use it
To bring balance, best broadband company I've been with. Never skipped a beat in over four years.

Terrible company. Even though they know you've said you don't want any spam whatsoever, they send sales emails with no unsubscribe option. At the bottom in tiny print it says that the email contains important information about your account, but it doesn't, it's simply trying to sell you additional products. They have no respect whatsoever for their customers' wishes.

Also, if Plusnet put any prices up (e.g. phone call prices), they send you an email saying that you are entitled to cancel your broadband contract without any penalty clauses. Upfront and honest. In contrast, TalkTalk put prices up and say in their notification email that if you cancel your broadband you will still have to pay a penalty. Total crooks.
Perhaps one of the worse companies operating in the UK. I'm shocked they are still around with the amount of complains you hear about them. You couldn't pay ME to use them.
Went with them a few years back. Couldn't get connected for over a month. Terrible customer service. Took a week to cancel and many months to get my money back for the set up and service they didn't provide.
Last year unknown to me, my mum went with them. Ok, maybe they've gotten better. HELL NO. Same exact crappy service, or just lack off.

I've been loyally with BT for years now. Yeah perhaps not the cheapest. But they own / operate the majority of the infrastructure and hence it's easy with them. Not a single issue in over 5 years.

No issues here, had talk talk Quidco offer and it paid out fine nearly 1y ago. (took 2.5 months from order to pay out)

Never had spam emails or calls from them either, deselected the marketing options from their portal )

Lost my personal data. Name, address, date of birth, email, phone number, bank account number and sort code. Then they said they hadn’t. Then four years later said yes they had. Avoid.
TT Cheeky PITA Barstewards, just informed me they now want me to pay £5 a month or £50 a year for the existing email account and they will give me a month until they delete my email account
Recently left talk talk for: onestream.co.uk/bro…BwE

Our average speed is now 20mbps @£18.99 per month. Bargain.

Isn't that only if your not a customer?

If so and your no longer a customer then why should they keep giving it to you for free.

Never understood why people use an isp's email system anyway with so many free ones out there like Gmail, outlook/Hotmail.

Causes a lot of grief if you want to switch providers.
Never had a problem with TT have been with them since they started now on 78mbps for £24.50 and virus for 8 machines for free. Granted we are a little distance from the box but we get on average 72mbps.
Great deal. I was literally working all the deals out before looking on here.

I’ve personally gone with this deal (Heat added) but actually if you’re looking for the cheapest deal you’d want to join Vodafone.

Actual cost is £21 per month but with TCB it comes down to £14.33 - I couldn’t access the website to see if there was a set up cost but it wouldn’t be anything more than £10 normally. Wouldn’t make the deal much different.

Not my experience they've always been good for us 2015 - 2018, John Lewis Sept 2018 till now. Even better due to their billing problems I've only paid them for 6 months and had a £50 John Lewis e gift voucher and £50 Topcashback

Same here never had problems with Talk talk they have been rock solid, only go down for maintenance.
Would never go back to Talk Talk even if they paid me. They are right up there as one of the absolute worst companies I've ever dealt with. Do NOT choose your ISP based on cost alone. I have dealt extensively with their Head Office/CEO and consider this company rotten to the core - they shouldn't be in business and are criminals.

I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 flashed with DD-WRT. I use a ubiquiti WAP for wifi.
I'm with TalkTalk and the connection has been decent and pretty stable most of the time.
Purchased through Quidco which did not track and has not been approved. Don't rely on the cashback.
I have been with them for 8 months and so far no problems

TalkTalk closed their Indian call centre operations over 2 years ago in August 2017. Stop spreading your ill informed xenophobic garbage.
