Unlimited calls and texts with data for a whole yearJoin 1pMobile today with a £36 top-up so you are all set for a whole year.

Normally we ask you to top-up at least once every 120 days to keep the service active. With the £36 top-up you will receive unlimited calls and texts to UK landlines and mobiles plus 100MB of data per month, for a whole year. We will not ask you to add any more credit unless you want to make calls or texts to destinations not included in your Boost, or you need more data.

Our triple SIM card is free and it will work in any unlocked 2G, 3G, 4G or 5G phone. Please ensure that your phone is not locked to your current provider.

Terms, conditions and privacy * I agree to the 1pMobile terms and conditions of service including the requirement to top-up at least £10 every 120 days (or equivalent) after the first year. I also give consent for my personal data to be collected, stored and processed in accordance with the 1pMobile privacy policy.

Does anyone know if Asda mobile is still the cheapest PAYG SIM to use in …Does anyone know if Asda mobile is still the cheapest PAYG SIM to use in an emergency backup phone?

I strongly advise you don't go anywhere near Asda PAYG. Text messages not getting sent, with the automated reply "Network Error", having ample credit but an automated voice telling me "you have insufficient credit to make this call" made me get rid of them within days of receiving their sim. Awful service. In my experience using piggyback networks, Tesco and Asda, my advice is don't touch them.

You can still get 321 rates via three if you order a data reward sim and you can top up a minimum of £2. The catch is I don't think it will work in a smartphone because three states it's for tablets, dongles and mobile broadband devices. I don't have a smartphone to test this. I use mine in a non-smart blackberry and it works fine. I'm getting the 321 rate.

This is the pricelist - Mobile Broadband plans for customers who joined or upgraded on or after 1 October 2021 (look on page 7).

This is the link for the data reward sim.

Appears you can only get one with a mandatory £10 top up. Was free when I ordered a couple last summer.

Also many people complaining about 1p mobile not telling them they'd introduced a minimum £2.50 usage a month or that money is deducted from their credit. Plenty people peeved about this.

It goes to the £10 top up after the first year for the 1-year SIM, assuming you haven't consumed the £30 balance by then.

They also do a £30 top one year deal ( £2.50 per month ) that takes out the 100mb internet.

I posted a thread about pay as you go SIM's recently and was told about this deal, o2 sim card with 3p a minute, 2p a text and 1p a MB. Seems like one of the cheapest on the market for people who don't use much.

That minimum usage thing, that’s not with the 36 quid year package is it?
If not just swap providers after 12 months ?

Do they take a additional 10 quid on top of the 36 in case you spend out of your allowance ?Automatic top-upsAny chargeable calls or texts you make, and any additional data you use, will be deducted from your credit. Thereafter, to ensure you can always use your phone for out of bundle calls and texts when you want to, we will automatically top-up your usage balance with an additional £10 (charged to your card) whenever your balance falls below £2.

You can add a top-up if you want to make calls to numbers other than UK landlines and mobiles or if you want more data

Is your plan still available to buy?

Looks like the offers have dried up a bit lately. They tend to come and go, either talkmobile or Three through Fonehose.

Saying that the following one's not bad really but only if you want loads of data. You're basically paying double this 1p mobile deal but getting 30GB of data instead of 100MB.

I can't really complain about anything, reliable, good service, good coverage and cheap if you use it correctly (ie. If you are a heavy data usage data). I thought (even with the £10 for 120 days offer) you don't lose any credit and if you renew when your contract period is up (120 days or 12 months) your unused credit is carried over. I can't find £2.50 minimum monthly usage rule on their web site and I wasn't made aware of it probably because I'm on their yearly plan but if this is correct then I'm disappointed with them.

Yes I was a bit annoyed at the lack of customer loyalty too, it seems it's only applied to customers that have been with them a while, not new customers? 46665013-Pai9T.jpg

Well 1pMobile have a £30 a year minimum spend. Most tariffs do not have minimum spends.

O2 for example (this is a good offer) has a classic package that is 3p a minute, 2p a text and 1p MB. You only have to make 1 chargeable call/text/data every 6 months with O2 though so theoretically you could send 1 text every 6 months and keep the sim running for just 4p a year vs the minimum of £30 a year at 1pMobile. It makes O2 (tesco mobile, RWG ect) all cheaper than 1pMobile for really low useage users.

If you are using less than around 1500 texts/minutes/mb's a year, 1pMobile might not be the cheapest option. (edited)

Scrap the sky mobile deal, there's been changes. So not the price any longer as the you need to sign up to a plan 100mb which was free before but it's now £5. So sky is not a better option until they do offers now. But from reading comments you can try different browsers and in private node and it still may show (zero) for 100mb package. I feel like deleting my comments

I’ve just found and signed up to the sky mobile Nokia contract at £1.50 a month, £0 for 100mb and call/texts.

Set up the account, placed my order and they’ve now cancelled it

EDIT: was on hold waiting to ask them why, but can’t be bothered wasting any more time on them
especially if it’s likely to increase significantly at some point. (edited)

They seem to always change the SIM price (usually £5+) mid contract and you've still got to pay for the phone every month for years anyway. Signing up for a multi-year contract when they can change the SIM price mid contract without warning isn't a great idea imo.

Been on it for two years for paid sim and just over a year for the free sim. The price has stayed the same. The price of the sim is only 12 months. The phone price doesn’t change and you can pay it off anytime. It might not work for you but has worked for me and my wife great (edited)

Very disappointed with 1p mobile for this, I have been recommending them to family and friends but this minimum spend policy is like stealing money from customers. If after 120 days the customer do not renew then they will lose all their credit anyway which seems fair to me but this monthly minimum spend and deducting money from customers every month just seem wrong to me. They are far more likely to keep customers with some roll over credit so that they will renew every 120 days because customers do not want to lose unused credit. If customers see that any unused would be wiped out then they probably won't renew it when time comes. Bad policy. (edited)
