Just signed up so thought it's a good deal after browsing around for the speed of up to 76 Mbps. Been in the past with TalkTalk and didn't have issues with them.

Base price is 26 per month for 18 months and comes at 19.88 per month after £110 Quidco cashback.

Very poor CS. Hacked at least twice. Avoid.
I signed up to them in November last year. The broadband is so bad, I get cut outs and have to rely on my 4G for this. However I will chat to CS and see if I can get a speed boost for free from my 38mb, as I pay the same as this offer
Now TV is better with anytime calls included, not sure about talktalk

You get the same problem with EE = Avoid
When they say faster - they mean occasionally it will be faster than the standard, but not by much.
The speed boost is rubbish, see no difference with or without. They are to stupid to understand that every time it rains my fibre cuts out. Still insist on doing hours of diagnostics thru the phone line, to tell me there's no problem within the house!!.
TalkTalk is fine when you get the fibre.
My suspicion is TT is going to fold soon. Will be sold to an investor and Charles Dunstone will be concentrating on the wholesale provision of infrastructure, as reported in the media. Hehas made huge investments there.
Don't do it to yourself, even if they offered it for free it'd not be worth it!

Why would it fold if it’s sold to an investor though?

There’s a huge customer database there, just waiting to be snapped up and run properly IMO.

Just got a free speed boost to 67mb via live chat. In November 2018 I paid £19.95pm, with Topcashback of £105 which paid out. May as well try getting the speed boost if you can.
I've had 150mb g.fast with talk talk for over a year and it's been a solid connection. Cs over the phone is crap but fantastic through their forum.

I think alot of ppl blame the ISP for 'speed' issues when really they're alot of things beyond the ISP control such as length and quality of the line.
I'm with TT at the moment with similar deal (£25 for 18 months). I've been off and on with them for several years and not had any problems - just swapped to BT on occasion for better price but BT are always put up their prices which TT do not anymore. I would consider them again and think this is a good deal espcially cashback.

I was with talktalk 3 years ago, their CS constantly got battered, however my fibre large with them I had no issues. I only left them as they had stopped the talk2go app. Suppose fewer customers would mean less traffic for the ISP and then that would mean less congestion for the customers.
I signed up to this just over a week ago, got anytime calls included for free as well, Quidco also tracked - live date in just a weeks time.... bye bye sky.

Had TT previously and never had a problem.
I guess there is no telling some people, talktalk has become a byword for the worst of the worst, your money don't say your wern't warned.

Right zxxx
Classic example of 'price isn't everything'. Talk Talk = pain.
I think with any ISP you're going to get customers with problems. I have TalkTalk fibre service with speed boost, just run a speed test on my mobile over wifi and getting 62.6Mbps
My experience with talk talk was really bad about 5-6 months ago. I ended the contract early as they were so very bad
The worst internet provider around. Absolutely awful company.

I had the same problem it turned out to be a scuff in the underground cable in the street but it took over two years for them to find this out, my speeds were dropping to 0,013 Mbps in the end i swapped to sky and within 2 weeks they dug the street up and fixed the cable. Talk Talk may be cheap but they are bloomin useless when you have any issues.

Signed up with NowTv last month. So far so good for £25pm.
Can someone in the know confirm if TalkTalk router is better than NowTV?

I'm sure the now tv/sky one is regarded as one of the worst so no.
I have been with talk talk since they started and never had a problem wxcept when BT wholesale forgot to change the tag on our line when we moved to fibre. We were one of the first to get fibre in my street and the first to get the faster fibre. I have the faster fibre and get 78MBps no problems and pay a lot less than BT and Now TV etc with a new router. I also get their 10 user antivirus for free. If you haggle you always get a good deal. Ive known some people who have problems and move to other providers and have exactly the same speeds and problems with others. You win some you loose some.
Service is rubbish. I cancelled but after calling up later found out the person didn't cancel. Had to cancel again. Broadband kept messing around.
It's a good price and I didn't have any issues with them so far. Fingers crossed new contract goes fine.

Issues happen usually with most providers.

Oh and moaners gonna be moaners so brace yourself.

NowTv router is a rebadged sky router which has one of the worse wifi ranges out there. I'm currently with sky and this is the reason i'm switching to TalkTalk which along with BT supply the best routers for wifi range from any ISP.

I did try to address the issue with Sky, but the only solution they offered was for me to buy a wifi booster off them for £70-£80!

Thanks, Ive placed an order for talktalk today. I've been with Vodafone for for a while and their Router is terrible. If this doesn't solve problem with coverage in my house then I will try the Tenda mesh system.

I'm of exactly the same opinion. I was considering the Tenda deal, but with Sky's attitude prefer to give another ISP a go - plus TT worked out cheaper than Sky. I'm strongly of the opinion the wifi range will be much better with this router though. -

Talk Talk was voted the best WiFi router by which. But I would always buy a better router (Asus for example) and put the free one in modem mode so it just routes the internet to your good router

Sadly the new TalkTalk WiFi Hub router doesn’t have a modem only mode
TalkTalk have poor customer service. After fault unresolved during first month of contract terminated contract and switched then billed for almost £400.
