I needed to sorted my backup mobile and I went compering different sim only deals. Talk talk offers one with 300mins unlimited texts and 250mb of data for £3.95/mth for 12mth for existing customers so it makes £47.40 for a year but I went via top cash back and I got £63 back so technically I've earn £15.60. I don't know if this is normal but I needed the sim anyway so I went for it but I just check my top cash back and £63 got credited too.
Talk talk is using Vodafone so no bad for phone and texts and this is going to be a second sim in my 2-sim honor 7

It’s also a small player in the mobile market, with only around 350,000 users, but the move to 4G is likely to help it grow as well.Given that TalkTalk will soon be using O2’s infrastructure we can already see what its 4G coverage will be like.O2 currently has 4G coverage for over 70% of the UK population and aims to have 98% population coverage as soon as possible, so TalkTalk will be jumping on board with a well-established network and will presumably deliver the same level of coverage.

Hey how did you do that? were you renewing your contract? Mine is coming up. If you please share any helpful tips it will be much useful:)
Good deal, but shouldn't be posted in Computers section.
If you can believe their network team the move to O2 is supposed to take place in June 2016. I put the caveat because the had previously said it was supposed to take place in January.
Good way to have your personal information stolen. In the news again yesterday - staff this time.
I got this last year for my mum. Worked a treat, just gone for it again, hope I get cashback / can change number, but if not hey ho it is cheap as chips to be fair.
Not much left of o2 either, they're a shadow of what they were, and after they sold there internet side off to "focus on our mobile product" that too has went to crap, the o2 domination in payg was awesome now its just blah ok whatever, most use 3 now, you pay for what you use and you don't loose free texts cause you don't get them, your not forced to top up for txts ever month and your not charged like 23p per min with 3 I think it's 3p per min.
o2 will by it up cause its cheap but they're not much better of as a company financially.
When they had there internet service it was and still is the best service I've ever received and I was with them to the end when I was told I would be sold off to sky,
It was a real shame they did have the best net service around, sky are getting better but they're just not there yet, most including myself are still on a lot of auto machines (rather poor auto calibration line system, very ball park, rough like, guess work) rather than fine tuning manually, I'm loosing 1.5meg on my upload and 2meg on my download compared to O2 because I'm on an auto system when I asked sky to manually fix it they said I wasn't on that system and to be put on it i'd need to buy a bigger package aka t.v & phone, I could go into more detail but I won't this is the biggest issue with sky my line and many many others are capable of more yet its being crippled by the auto (stinger) system maybe if this is fixed I can fully support sky but until then they don't match the service I had with o2 for 5 yrs.
I was moved over about 3 years ago, it's 3 yrs later and fibre is full blown and my service on adsl 2+ still does not match that of O2 which I was promised by both O2 and sky when I moved over that "yes it absolutely" would "it's the exact same system, you have nothing to worry about"

BT is far to pricey talk talk is cheap but dangerous for personal information and financial issues, virgin is limited availability, best bet PAYG = 3 - Internet = Sky Imho.

If sky step up there system they will take the larger market share as everyone will see a boost in performance and people will talk and advise friends/family go to sky.

I called them and express my feelings about the cyber attack and said I want to cancel the contract. Long story short the manager halved my bill

i know exactly what you talking about.
customer service not helpful at all.
They send you random bills for things you didn't use and you don't have any choice but to pay.
I couldn't let this post go without a comment ......

I have a sim only plan with them , I did have broadband and phone too. I am trying to cancel my plan as its out of the contract term , their customer services is as good as non-existant. I have to 2 complaint reference numbers and copies of online chats where they have promised call backs within 24 hours ...... this has never took place . The "contact us" links in their customer code of conduct also refuse to work. If I stop the direct debit 30 days after first trying to contact them about this ( 30 days notice ) it's likely to hit my credit rating once they try and collect money , so this would be a home goal for me.

Shocking none existant service , ongoing and after 8 weeks I will have to use the telecoms ombudsman service. I've wasted far far too much of my time trying to cancel this , in effect the savings were never worth it.

In three simple words ....
Avoid , avoid , avoid.

Hey did you try changing the options that is when they ask for options after calling this number 0870 444 1820 pick the phone and broadband option and they will ask why are you calling and say renewing the contract I am sure you will be put through to the sales team and they can sort it out. I recently did this and surprisingly I talked to someone from Britain and when I mentioned my mobile problem she actually took the effort to go through my account and sort it out. May be you can try this route as well
Talktalk customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, automated computer generated crap, I would not recommend this company to anyone, their main function is to totally rip off their customers anyway possible.

I had a conversation with Talk talk and it turns out that they've not even signed any agreement with O2, their still negotiating. This means to me that people believing they would get 4g as a result of the move from Vodafone to O2 have been mis-sold.
What is the obsession with 4g why don't they just pay vodadone for 4g! Giffgaff 4g speeds are slower than ee and voda 3g speeds where i live! Asda's move backfired i can see this being an absolute shambles and the 4g will be so slow people will leave in their droves! Another talktalk disaster brewing!
