TalkTalk Faster 150 Fibre Upgrade at £25 a month all in / 18 months

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I have logged into my TalkTalk account to see when my contract is up and see what is available, I have 5 months left but spotted an upgrade deal for the Faster 150 fibre at £25 a month all in. I am currently on one of the £23.50 deals for 40mb so £1.50 for three times the bandwidth is great.

Yes it is a renewal so it will renew you for another 18 months and is probably account specific but worth a look if after all this lockdown you now realise having that much bandwidth is needed (I did with the kids constantly on youtube whilst on there consoles whilst also watching Disney plus in every room in the house)

I know there are a lot of TalkTalk haters out there but if you are one of the lucky ones like myself who have no problems a good opportunity to get some more bandwidth and TalkTalk also lock in the price for the whole term of the contract.

Good deal, Shame I can't get that speed yet, from any provider.
I’m on Fibre boost 70mbs £19,99/18mths. Getting 54mbs on average, never had any issue (8 years)
Same here. Been with TT for many years and apart from one 24h downtime, they have been solid. Last week, this same Upgrade was showing at £27 for me. If it is really £25, then I might bite the bullet.
I'm on this deal. Does what it says on the tin.

Get about 115mb download speeds and 15mb up. (My line was on the edge of being able to benefit from g.fast)
Just been sure your phone line can handle the bandwidth, some lines can only handle upto 40-60mps so any higher speed is pointless
Don't forget £15 Quidco for existing customers

Talktalk dont know their elbow from their backside ! I am with them at the moment (faster Fibre) yet clicking on the link to get the higher speeds gives the message they are not in the area. How pathetic !

even £28 is pretty good for 150mb down and 25 mb up, shame I can't get where I am
41018262-yEErS.jpgI wouldnt bother!! I'm having real issues with them! I'm meant to be on faster fibre.... any fibre would be fantastic right now and been pretty shocking for months but this is something else of recent! I stupidly re contracted in april in the hope it would put me on a better service and it's been worse since. I've had 2 new routers this year to try and improve it and it's worse than ever. They are now trying to charge me 135 early exit fee so in the process of trying to waive that as with 2 home school children, its not fun!!

I noticed when I was accepting the upgrade they do have a minimum speed promise in there T&C that gives you a get out clause, so it may be worth looking at yours.

I have this as well, the £25 one was directly underneath it.41018483-tljD4.jpg
If you value your sanity steer well clear of this company. I'd rather pay not to suffer as a TalkTalk customer again.
Good price - but the reason I changed was their service was rubbish - it kept dropping out.

It was great initially then got worse as time went by.

you will find that talktalk rather than being "for everyone" are actually for only those where they have their own equipment in the exchange, they got rid of "everyone" who had lines managed by BT years ago.
talktalk about false advertising

Called them when my contract was about to end
Cold , full fibre 1000 mbs for £25 in York from talk talk
Not on my account but thenn annoyingly I don't think I'm wired for anything higher than 50mb/s.
I don't understand about having good or bad broadband from talktalk. It's openreach who are responsible for the servers and lines to the home. The only thing talktalk do is buy bandwidth off them then sell it to us. So the most that talktalk can do is send you the wrong bill or capping speeds incorrectly.
TalkTalk for years, great prices and very little to moan about.
I’m on this deal, my usual speed is between 150-160mb. Cause I’m close to exchange I can upgrade to 330 if needed.
Even with everything in the house streaming I can only get the speed down to about 95mb!

That's only partly true, yes the actual line to the exchange / cabinet is run by bt, but the backhaul from the exchange is talktalk. And talktalk have been renowned for outages in the past, there was an issue last week for example with the DNS servers failing. But yes, the line speespeed and connection stability is down to BT.
Be aware!when you sign up you must chase them up and check when will they upgrade.i was waiting over 6 months after renewal just find out they know nothing about it yet charged me extra money from day one after upgrade!.
I am still with them but only up until August and Bye bye TT i switch to EE 100gb Sim and ciao Bella!!!!
I've just checked this. It was showing in my account as £28 to upgrade. I contacted TalkTalk via live chat, and managed to secure it for £20pm over 18 months
I know of 3 people that use talk talk.. each one has severe problems with their connection dropping out for days on end and useless support when they bother to answer
At least your data will be secure
I have been using this service for the last few months. Average download speed is easily more than 120-130 Mbps while upload is 25-30 Mbps. An engineer visit is mandatory as TalkTalk require a separate Huawei modem to be installed at home; there is no charge for it though and is included in the contract. I have had to chat with customer service once because of line issues from the cabinet to the exchange. An Openreach engineer fixed it on a weekend and TalkTalk gave me £5 credit for the outage.

The other thing that made a difference was upgrading my laptop's ancient hard drive to a SSD - file download speed to the laptop significantly improved.
Everything's negotiable with TalkTalk - £20pm all-in. Those extras cost a fortune with BT, and they allow you to have calls forwarded from a landline to a mobile without any cost at all.

But here's one who's been with them for years without any problems at all.
Absolutely the worst boardband provider I have ever had the misfutune of being with. Glad I switched to Virgin so much better, got the deal last year £26 a month plus £120 cashback from Quidco see what I can get this year. People please stay well clear of Talktalk.

Looks like it’s swings and roundabouts depending upon location
Thats a bummer, i am paying £25 for only 75 meg, i would have jumped at 150 for the same price a few months ago.
I'm currently paying £19.95 for 38mb which is up in September, just checked and it's offering the superfast for £26 a month. Have been very happy with talk talk but not quite ready to pay that much for BB yet.
Thanks upgraded. There is £15 TopCashback and it was £26 for my account per month.
Is this deal because everyone is at the end of their contracts? Mine is up in August 21 -_-
If anyone lives in Southampton you can get 900mbps from a company called toob for £25 a month

I was with virgin 100mb and switched to talktak 75mb. Got much better speed than virgin 100mb. Not sure why but I think virgin broadband line is overloaded during peak times. Also getting free mobile and land lines calls, many calling features for only £25.
I'm over a mile from the nearest exchange box and my internet is dreadfully slow. Really need one closer as the neighbours all have the same issue. Does anyone know who to complain to? Can't seem to find anything online.
