Just been hunting around for a decent fibre broadband deal and found this from TalkTalk.
You have to go via Quidco, as going direct is £25.
The highest cashback looks is probably for new signup but i got £125 so that makes the monthly payment just over £15.
There was also no new line installation charge either which is usually around £60 for other providers I have been looking at.

up to 75Mb Unlimited Superfast Fibre
Average download speeds of 67Mb
Plan includes:Over 6x faster than standard broadband

Hope it helps someone.

Awful customer service. Decent product, once it works. Took months for customer service to sort problems. Would never use them again. Can recommend Plusnet, BT and Sky.
This looks good if it works. Just renewed my contract with Vodafone, wish this deal was posted yesterday. I was with TT before, and I agree, their CS is shocking. I left because it took them to solve my issue 2 months.
Voted hot, as it seems a decent deal.

I would never use talk talk again! I tried cancelling my contract when I was moving out of my flat back in 2013/2014 and they wanted me to pay a hefty leaving fee (even though contract was a few months from finishing!) or to leave the line active for the next council Tennant! Since buying our house we have been with sky and they are fab...

Just what I was looking for. I was paying £22/month with Vodafone but now I’m out of contract they have put it up to £30 and it’s only 38mb. Thanks op x
CS can be hit and miss with any of them I guess.
I had Sky Q when it first came out and had no end of trouble and the CS was terrible. 3yrs on and I gave it another go and it’s been fine plus the home move CS person was really helpful.
Only went with TT for the price so fingers crossed it’s installed fine and then no need get CS involved

So your recommending 3 companies that are so good it's clear that you left at least 2 of them. Hmm :/

If you go with TT you will need to account for the expense of a new router. The new WiFi hub is not good. I've had 3 of them now and had issues with random sync loss, WiFi dropping out for a few seconds every 20-30 minutes, and even the occasional unplanned restart. The settings are pretty restrictive and you can't pick your own DNS for example (which you should do, since TalkTalk DNS kinda sucks)

If you want a router on the cheap, go on ebay and find a TalkTalk branded D-Link DSL-3782 for a few pounds, or TalkTalk branded Huawei HG635. If you want to spend a little more then get a TP Link VDSL Router. Prefarably one that supports dual band 5GHz AC Wireless, and also IGMP/Multicast if you are taking TalkTalk TV as well and want to be able to watch the Sky channels.

On this site people shop around for good deals. Most of us have tried three, four, five, even ten broadband/fibre/mobile providers for internet just because of good deals.

If I had not made the switch to mobile internet I would have gone for this deal as TT were ok for me and a lot cheaper than the others mentioned.

I especially despise SLY for trying to stick me with a £5 per month surcharge for not having a tv package and cutting speeds when they bought the ISP Be* in 2013 or so and I was transferred to them...then telling me I had to stay with them until my contract expired in 18 months...told them to f off as you would expect but it still leaves a bad taste thinking about it.

Swap between them for cashback. Never had a problem with any of them but have with talk talk and sse.
Talk talk is literally the worst internet service in the whole country.
Had this and the wifi kept dropping to the point of having to keep resetting router. Talktalk customer service are poor at best of times but i had problems understanding them as i speak english only
TalkTalk is the best broadband provider I have ever been with.

I have had a look at the study they used to back up the claim of them having the best router. And it is very unbiased and is better or matches BT's router in nearly every situation in the tests they have conducted.
I have been with Sky & Nowtv and the router is absolutely rubbish in comparison.
Vodafone bottleneck speeds at peak times.
Plusnet router is meh and they do shady stuff like making their sim slower than EE's that makes me not trust them.
Virgin have good speeds but bad ping due to the fundamental technology they use.
I really can't think of a better experience overall in the UK for broadband than talktalk and iv been signed up with all of them.
The only company's that are better are BT and ZEN but they are triple the price to this.
I am paying £23 for this and £75 cashback and I thought that was a good deal, cashback was paid lightning fast and I have never had to call them once. I get the advertised speeds and sometimes over (low 80s mb) occasionally.

If you do not like them it will be due to a problem with the line (openreaches fault) in combination with bad customer service.
To overcome this use their forum and they literally bend over backwards for you.
I have never had to use the forum but everything is public and you can see the effort they make. That was one of the reasons I have signed up.

I will be a talktalk customer for life, hassle free

Totally agree!

Worst customer service than even Virgin or Scottish Power complete numpties!

Having said that after 25 years with Virgin i went with Talktalk last year on this exact date - maybe this is a regular thing?
I got 40mb fibre broadband with unlimited phone calls to mobile and landlines all week for £19.95 a month and Topcashback!
So far i have been on 40mb regularly without a problem although it took them ages to sort me out as they initially put me on 11mbps ADSL card because there were not enough fibre cards to put me on in the grey box so they didnt charge me for the first 3 months it took them to sort it - yeah terrible customer service!

Talktalk router has way better wifi range than the superhub.
I used to be a network engineer with NTL and the standards of the engineers has gone way downhill.
Never even bothered to put on shoe protectosrs and walked in with sh** on his feet and messed my bloomin white carpet!
Refused to install an extension to my living room as the BT junction box is in my kitchen cupboard so i had to run the cables and drill holes in walls myself to get the job done - in the old days i would have easily done that for a customer as we had masonry drills and TDR's etc in the van but no not now Openreach are terrible!

Maybe you have been extremely unlucky as I have not experienced any of these problems and would argue the new WiFi Hub is better than all the routers you have mentioned, especially the HG635.
Most likely you have a new device in your house that is giving WiFi interference.
While a £100 branded router will be better at helping with WiFi interference, for most people it is not needed.
I would argue that with the exception of ZEN, no other broadband provider could fix this for you.

They only sell broadband, they do not fix it. Behind the scenes Openreach does everything. You would have had the same delays with Plusnet, BT and Sky. As long as Talktalk provided evidence that it was passed to Openreach then your problem is really with Openreach and not TT surely

The main problem was getting TT customer service to escalate to open reach. When this was eventually done, the open reach engineer said talk talk would try to charge me for the visit. He wrote on his report it was not my fault and there should be no charge. Guess what? Talk talk tried to bill me for the visit loads more phone calls to India, lots of promises, all broken. Never again.

You are in some 1% club. When I had talk talk my internet used to drop out about 1 million times a day and their customer service is by far the worst customer services I've ever experienced. Even worse than BT who have notoriously bad reputation.

The ONLY provider worth having is virgin. Everything else is frankly a waste of money.

That would be a problem with your line (open reaches fault) and this would also happen with Sky ,BT, Vodafone ect.
The reason Virgin works is because it does not use your phone line that has a fault.

The point being when said fault occurs TalkTalk do absolutely nothing about it. I went without internet for over 2 weeks when the line died and they tried to charge me full price even when the guy on the phone told me I would be discounted. I was paying about 40 pound a month at the time and they begrudgingly gave me a £9 discount equal to less than a weeks worth of internet and they only gave me that because I said I would complain to Ofcom.

TalkTalk is by the far the very worst experience I've ever had with a company and I would advise people to avoid like the damn plague.
cold sky fibre ultrafast 1 145 meg was £22 a month on Black Friday
Compensation is now managed by Ofcom rules and is automatic, Talktalk do not get to decide and it is the same for virgin, BT, SKY, Vodafone;
ofcom.org.uk/pho…now

If they pass your complaint to Openreach and Openreach take 2 weeks to fix the line, how is that Talktalks fault?
This would also happen with every single broadband provider in the UK apart from ZEN and Virgin.
Surely if you want to change the monopoly that Openreach have you should complain to your local MSP and not talktalk.

I don't care about the monopoly of BT (Openreach) because all of those internet providers are trash when compared to Virgin. It stands to reason that the only provider that has it's own exclusive internet is also the best provider in the whole country. Virgin is not only the fastest but is also just flat out the better company.

Their customer service has been impeccable and the line has literally never died in the 2 years I've been with them. It's been a terrific experience and I have no desire to ever switch from Virgin. Much like you for TalkTalk, I am a customer of Virgin Internet for life.

Oh really? I have a consistent ~20 ping on Virgin and on TalkTalk and BT this was closer to 35-40.

I don't trust reviews online I go by personal experience. Trusted reviews are not trusted at all, they are no better than metacritic for games and films. The world we live in is that of a mob mentality.. you're living proof of it now, spouting user based reviews as evidence of your argument.

I've been with TalkTalk, and many others and I'm now with Virgin so regardless of whatever 5000 zombie minded horde reviews might claim, my personal experience is much better with Virgin than any other company. I would be one of the people leaving a 5 star review on your precious review site. I have personally been with BT, TalkTalk, Plusnet and Virgin.

You know you should realise - when everything goes to plan nobody leaves reviews. Maybe you're different but I've never ever left a positive review for anything in my life.
However if something goes wrong everyone flocks to the nearest platform to stand on a soap box and tell their tale.

Unfortunately you'll never convince me that TalkTalk is a credible company because my experience with them is one of an absolute shambles.. I couldn't care less what an independent review site might say about that.

We have already established your problem is with openreach not talktalk.
No one has said reviews are trustworthy. But they are more trustworthy than your one lone experience that wasnt even talktalks fault but openreaches.

Complimented her as such.
