This is a great deal if you regularly phone people abroad. It really is only £3 extra per month but you do need to be a TalkTalk customer (and I know some people don't like TalkTalk). talktalk.co.uk/boosts

My wife is foreign and regularly needs to phone friends and family back home. And her best mate lives in Germany. Best mate as in long long phone calls all the time. Plus for work she needs to phone France almost daily.

With this deal, that's all covered for £3.

Destinations included:

Australia
Austria
Azores
Belgium
Bulgaria
Canada
Canary Island
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Gibraltar
Greece
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Liechtenstein
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Madeira
Malta
Netherlands
New Zealand
North Cyprus
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Sweden
U.S.A

Hope that helps somebody - could be useful over Xmas I guess.

Nice deal however I use O2 landline to make calls abroad. Its included in my package. Heat added

Am I the only one whose link doesn't work?

I've only been with them for 3 months. Previously was with Tiscali, who were not to good, Pipex who were excellent then they all got bought up my TT. Changed to Orange and then Plusnet both were good at trying to assist but couldn't ever get it just right. All the dealings I've had both technically and sign up have been quite normal, so perhaps they have finally turned the corner and got their act together. My insider IT man says it is best if your telephone line and BB is LLU to TT . Have been issues going thru BT/ Openreach only exchanges. The costs and extras like Mobile minutes and Foreign calls are really good value, voted hot

TalkTalk is much maligned I have noticed but since we got them (when they took over Tiscali) I have to say broadband has mostly been OK and phones also OK.

The free 0870 and 0845 numbers really helps as does the free to UK landline numbers - anytime.

Not exactly a fan but they are not bad value really.

Talktalk is piece of s^^t. Making lots of calls abroad, but I am using ActionVoip when near PC ( 0.5 euro cent to almost any EU country landline) or have Vectone pay as you go sim when on the road ( all EU landline calls 1p)

My wife phones Europe more than 600 minutes a month so TalkTalk is cheaper than your option.
