After a long search, I think this is the best 12 months deal, Why?
- plz go thru topcashback to get this offer as talktalk website is more expensive. topcashback.co.uk/tal…lk/
- its only 12 months
- for both landline and Broadband (unlimited)- speed upto 17 mbps (Not fibre)
- £100 TCB (already tracked)
- If TCB pays then its £11
- Already with Sky, so I can not take their offer again (am I right?)

Sadly, they dont have the option of paying all 12 months in advance where the overall monthly charge gets reduced by £2 to £3. Plusnet is good for this.

I am already on Sky, so is there anyway taking up their offer again with perks? eg. doing it under my patner's name? Has this worked for anyone in the past? Thanks

I rang up to cancel sky, they offered £50 bill credit, free broadband for 12 months and reduced line rental by £3.99 a month.. so essentially £100 credit. Not bad, so took them up on it.

looks great. How much is the linerental? and was that on 12 month or 18 months? thanks

A talk talk adviser told me the cashback would not be paid, for this reason I took the deal out in the phone, interested to know if anyone buys through the link and actually gets the cashback

i dont think the talktalk adviser even heard of Topcashback. I have been jumping from talktalk, sky and BT every year or so- and ALL the cashback have paid. I ordered this talktalk package last night and its already tracked.

Thanks, I'll take this further in that case because obviously with the cashback it would have been a much better deal

Showed as £100 Topcashback for me, went ahead with order, thanks OP

It's talk talk though, can't wait to leave in February, our fibre was £24 a month now it's £36 after three price increases in 15 months, the WiFi is poor, spent 25 mins with their customers service only for them to keep asking if I am connected to my router and do I know my WiFi password, just garbage. They didn't give us the £50 reward card either, said it was while stocks last lol. Most complained about ISP.

Just tracked at £0, I hope this gets uplifted to £100 and paid out

noIdea first time on sky for me

Cold from me sorry

Its talktalk, they are awful. Like, really really bad. If it was £1 a month I honestly wouldn't go with them. A few years ago my estimated speed was 32mb, I was getting 3 max, on an evening I was getting under 56k....yes k not mb, my internet was faster 20 years ago. Despite me showing proof and them (after about 20 hour+ long phone calls) agreeing the speeds I was quoting were correct, they then went on to tell me that it was normal and refused to send an engineer out.
I went to BT, same speeds, did a line test, sent an engineer out, found one of the cables outside was falling to bits, replaced it and got full speed instantly. Don't forget they seem to get hacked quite a bit and expose customer details!
Its not the best deal out there, the sky one is £8 a month after all the cashback etc.

Which sky deal please. Need to o change my parents from B.T

we signed up to a 2 year fibre contract with talk talk in May this year. The first two months our internet was 'spikey' often dropping off and very limiting, after several calls an engineer came out to tell us this was a known common issue with the router we had been issued (conflict with games console) and the newest one would need to be sent out to fix the issue. A few more phone calls with various responses 'no new model routers available', 'a router hasn't been requested' for us, simply we 'will not be getting another router', we received a new router in the post which hasn't been much better than the last! We are having to reset the router nearly every week to get our internet back up to speed, can't wait until May 2019 when we can leave!

Don't forget you can leave a ISP mid contract if they increase there price I left BT earlier this year after about 8 weeks due to price rise I had received £125 prepayment card and £100 pound cashback via quidco signed up with EE and received £80 cashback.. so double layout..

It tracked as purchase £1.00, cashback £0 for me as well... I'll wait for a week or so and see if it increases

Talk talk....no thanks.

Try borrowing an different router? Perhaps someone in your family has just got a new one & would lend you the old one?

Alternatively check the returns policy on routers at somewhere like Argos.

no one else in my family is stupid enough to go with talktalk, they're with sky and plusnet. I begrudge buying another router as my supplier should provide one that is fit for purpose

£90 TBC NOT £100

You may be able to still use the same router - when I got my head on straight I realised that I could have my BT broadband up & running with the power of google before my home hub arrived using my own D5 router (TP-link). EE's routers are locked down IIRC. Surely someone you know must be able to lend you a router? You actively don't want a TT one - that is the point - to see if it is sh***.

As for the last point, I understand the principle, but seriously bad tech will rip your heart out. If you feel strongly, buy one, check that it works & bill TT; speculative at best, but threaten or even sue if you care that much - will be less stressful in the long run - could even be fun.

thanks for getting back to me, yes heart and soul are being torn to shreds due to awful connection issues of what should be fibre (only get 3mb on regular broadband here). Any recommendations of routers available from Argos? TIA

Never been on TT and can't get non-VM fibre. Suggest googling 'router for talk talk fibre'. What general area of the country are you?

Whilst I had googled a few things relating to my problem I hadn't googled that exact phrase, interestingly this is on the first page and looks to be identical to my issues. community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/…983

Try maplin if you have one (you now know that you need a VDSL router). Sorry I wrote a whole long post & lost it when my connection dropped as I hit submit!

I wouldn’t wish their service on my worst enemy avoid them like the plague!! Spent hours on the phone to them because my service was terrible. They waived my leaving costs after months and months of calls to India. Virgin have been the best suppliers i’ve used. Can’t put a price on reliability

Damn think iv missed out? Has this expired?

Yes mine is still on zero as well, I am hoping it will uplift to £100 when confirmed.

I phoned Talktalk up to tell them I was staying with my existing supplier as they offered Fibre with line rental at £20 (they actually offered me it, at £24). The Talktalk lady said once my service goes live, ring them the next day to upgrade to Fibre at £25 a month, when they will also put a £90 credit on my account to cover the 18 months of £5. I assume it will be an 18 month contract with Fibre instead of the 12 with Broadband
