£30 off the usual (Argos) price for this cheap zoom lens. Last time I checked the price was the same at Amazon, but this sudden price drop coincides nicely with the £10 voucher for a £100 spend. I could barely believe my luck! The Canon version is the same price.

I have ordered one to collect so can't yet personally vouch for the quality. A large zoom range and Vibration Compensation are appealing for the price. Hopefully this is of use to someone on a tight budget.

Looks rather similar to the lens i paid 500 or 550 for a fair few years back. Quality.. Not there best but no zoom looked this will be.. 6.3 cuts light a fair bit.

However this is amazing values. Truly absolutely looks Anh amazing price for that flexibility.... Nice spot

It's a value BASIC lens for a family photographer.

Can this lense be used with any other camera?

TStop is usually higher for all the lenses than the FStop, but in this case it's different. So in reality it's 5.7 instead of 6.3 - dxomark.com/Len…kon . Probably not that anyone cares about this

This version is for Nikon F-mount, and is designed for cameras with APS-C sensors, such as the D3200 that I use.

I just got home from Argos with this and am pleased so far. Auto focus is a bit slow in low light, compared with my Nikon lenses, but the build quality and overall feel are good. Certainly very happy for the money!

£149 at e-Infinity.com,....

I've had one of these for almost a year now - very impressed with it - it's well built, with no wobble when full extended and the quality is good. It replaced my 18-55 kit lens and my 50-200mm. It performs as well as either of them.

Incidentally, it was around £170 last spring, when I bought it.
