Why there is no Sony FE version of it?

Why there is no Sony FE version of it?

Sony own 13 percent of the shares in Tamron, and are their largest individual shareholding.

This lens is miles better than the awful 1635z they make, the Zeiss badge doesn't make up for it. I'm guessing Sony is influential enough to put a block on this releasing for FE.
Sony have the tamron 17-28 f2.8 as a constant aperture, or just buy this and adapt.
Seems expensive to me but i guess it depends on what lens you see it through...

Expensive in general or for this lens it's normally £500

Tamron 17-28 f2.8 for Sony costs £866 on Amazon.co.uk

I think 17-35 & 35-150, if they were released for Sony, would suit me best

Decent saving at £669 for the Tamron if you can cope with buying an import.
