Baked in Pembrokeshire to a traditional farmhouse recipe, Tan Y Castell Welsh Cakes are delicious round, flat cakes containing a mixture of vine fruits. With much of the baking still done by hand, these cakes are delicious warmed through with a scraping of butter and jam on top. They can also be eaten straight from the pack. What's more, they contain no additives, preservatives or added salt.



Preparation
May be eaten straight from the pack or re-heated.

Microwave From Ambient

Microwave 1 cake for 15/35 seconds (depending on rating) & serve (fruit may become very hot).

    These are the thinnest Welsh cakes you'll find anywhere. Certainly wouldn't find any like this in Wales. Which makes them more akin to cardboard than a Welsh Cake.

    I couldn't agree more. I used to make them with my grandmother over 50 years ago. Only I used to put more sugar in than she did!
