I love this gin, and this is the cheapest I've seen it for quite a while. I didn't manage to get the morrisons deal a month or so back, but I'll be making up for lost time with this offer.

Also £20 instore at Sainsburys according to mysupermarket.com

Agree a lot better than that Bombay stuff, have some heat.

Weekend sorted. Thanks OP.

Can confirm that Sainsburys has it for £20. I am now broke, but I have a lot of gin. I also have some very nice Fever-Tree Sicilian Lemon Tonic water left over from my birthday a while back. Tonight is shaping up nicely.

I don't think I've had this before, is it better than Gordon's ?

Personally I prefer this to most gins you can buy in a local supermarket. My mum swears by Gordons and won't buy anything else. I can pretty much guarantee you won't hate it. It is also a lot to do with your mixer of choice. I've only had Tanqueray with Fentimans or Fever tree. Although today I actually bought some Schweppes Tonic with lemon zest and am looking forward to it.

Anything is better than Gordon's. Even Gordon's Export is better than Gordon's.

You'll regret that!

Go to a decent wetherspoons and try out some from the gin palace.Depends if you are in a city or not but can be quite cheap .Most the same price as gordons.I know wetherspoons get a lot of stick on here but i live in a small town and our is clean and not full of alkies.

Go to a decent wetherspoons

I stopped reading after I read that...

I've got a lot of nectar points building up, meant to use them at Christmas but don't go to Sainsbury's that often, can see now they were clearly destined for a higher purpose.

Good deal. It's also worth looking at Tanqueray No. 10 which is £22.49 and Tanqueray Rangpur which is £17.49 @Amazon. Both 70cl bottles, but the No. 10 is 47.3%. The Rangpur is lovely if you like your gin with an extra hit of lime.

OK, I gave in and tried it, it's on a par with own brand tonics. a decent gin deserves a decent tonic. Oh and I've had a few, lovely buzz!

Keep it for the neighbours

Thanks for this. Used to be a Bombay drinker but converted to Tanqueray a couple years ago and not looked back. It has to be this export strength though - everything else just tastes so weak in comparison now... (Apart from Gordon's, that tastes weak and horrible)

Good price, but get it from Sainsbury unless someone is home for the delivery. they wont leave it with a neighbour and it has to be delivered to someone over 18 at your address. Understandable given the law, but a massive PITA if no one is home in the day. I had to work from home to save a pound on a bottle of whisky before Xmas.
