This is a nice drop of gin and much better than the terrible Gordons stuff. In addition, as it is Export Strength at 43.1% ABV compared to Gordons at 37.5%, you probably won't need as much or if you do you'll get bladdered earlier hic!
Deal ends 7 October so get round there fast!

Aldi's gin is really nice. But I like Tanqueray also. So still hot from me.
I have been buying from Aldi for almost 12 months now, and wouldn't touch any other.
gin back
The extra strength ensures the gin retains a decent 'bite' once diluted with your berries.
Darn it !
Also, another thumbs up for Aldi's gin, great tasting at the best price out there. Haven't bought any other gin since I tried it.
....% alcohol content isn't related to quality/taste if the daily mail article above is anything to go by
Yeah totally, I'm sure it's got nothing to do with it scoring as well as gin that costs twice as much...
And you believe what you read in the Daily Mail?
Shame on you!!
Seriously, I appreciate that taste is a subjective thing so each to his own re Tanqueray. I just write as I find.
Personally I think that Hendricks is awful stuff but then quite a lot of others like it so there you go.
is still showing it as £18.50 until 07 Oct.
I have asked someone I know who works at Waitrose to confirm that it is still on the shelf but they won't be able to tell me till tomorrow.
Can anyone else corroborate that they have seen it on shelf since Saturday?
Touché!
Fill yer boots!
While there I saw opihr gin, has anyone tried it, it looked interesting.
Isn't drinking gin in Scotland a capital offence?
Not yet I don't think but it will be once that Nicola Fish woman gets to be President.
