Been looking for a pair of Noise cancelling headphones that won't break the bank, as Bose is way outside my budget currently, and these seem to fit the bill, not to mention are very well review.

As noise cancelling, these have a battery and last around 15 hours with noise cancellation before recharging.

Active Noise Cancelling Functionality
Whether it is the vroom vroom of cars, your neighbors chatting, or the ongoing TV show your roomie's watching, it takes just a slider to tune everything out. Let the active noise cancelling functionality kick in and the TaoTronics ANC headphones will reduce all environmental noise by up to 25dB for an immersive auditory experience that lasts up to 15 hours per charge.

Increase Awareness with Monitoring Mode
While the TaoTronics active noise cancelling earphones allow you to lose yourself in your activities without being distracted by surrounding noise, a press of a button will bring you back to reality. Activate the monitoring mode to lower the sound so you won't miss important airline or subway announcements or what the conversation is about.

Built-In MEMS Noise Cancelling Microphone
MEMS literally stands for Micro Electrical Mechanical System. To the users this translates to a reduced footprint inline microphone that allows for crispier phone calls by providing an undisturbed voice transmission.

Feature-Packed Headphones
In addition to a sleek, durable aluminum alloy black matte finish that weighs only 0.8 oz, the TaoTronics headphones come with dual inline remote controls to master your acoustic experience. While one houses the active noise cancelling and monitoring mode buttons, the second one hosts a mic and buttons to control the volume, audio, and incoming calls.

What's In the Box:
1 x TaoTronics ANC Headphones (TT-EP002)
6 x Earbuds (two are already installed)
4 x Ear Hooks (two are already installed)
1 x Micro USB Cable
1 x Travel Pouch
1 x Airline Adapter
1 x User Guide

Don't bother if you want active noise cancellation. I've had a pair and all they do is raise the volume level when noise cancelling is on. There is no discernible noise cancellation effect.

Not sure if you are referring to this exact model but I have a cheaper model, and it, contrary to your claim, actually reduces background noise such as the loud tube train noises to a tolerable level.
Taotronics are horrendous for fake reviews. Avoid.
I bought a pair of taotronics as I fly longhaul alot. I can confirm that the noise cancelling certainly does work! The difference is like night and day. Sure they're no way near as good as high end bose etc but for £30 I'm happy with them
I’ve 2 pairs of the over ear version and they’re fantastic. No fake review from me, I’m delighted. Wear them 10 hours a day.

I tried these earbud type and returned them as they wouldn’t work well with Skype.
I've bought two pairs of 'budget new branded' earphones and both failed on me after 4 months (Dodocool and Parasom); specifically the audio stopped working through one ear. Strange that.
