Clearly a fact that it’s been sold as “computer soundbar”.

You obviously feel very strongly about having large speakers, that’s great. However your alternative to this sound bar is 5 times the price, which is a fact.
So, lots of futile argument stirred up by argumentative people, but nothing about whether it souds good or not. Very helpful

Fab little spot @BuzzDuraband all of the Tao Tronics items are such good value for money, they all work, just like more expensive brands and in some cases better!

HOT!

Let's compare pound per W then?
Was 59.99 per 200W = 0.2995 per Watt.
This is 14.99 / 10 = 1.499 per Watt. This is 5 times more expensive. :-)

BT? LOL worth 20 quid max.
Let's say I paid 79.99 / 200 * 10 = 4 quid. That sound bar is 1 pound overpriced per W then :-)

Take away the subwoofer power and the satellite speakers are around 15-20 RMS each.
The Subwoofer @130W peek, probably 50Watt RMS or less.
Always had good experience with Taotronics gear - their aftersales support is outstanding, too.

Which is over 5 times the price of this on amazon and as previously mentioned excessive for a replacement monitor speaker.

Heat added, great reduction.

400 Watts Peak/200 Watts RMS power delivers amped audio from this 2.1 speaker system.
Total watts: 200 W
Subwoofer: 130 W
Satellites: 2 x 35 W

It is very loud and works great with my setup.

paid 59.99 thus 4x this deal but for 20x the wattage

Anyway, have you got this one? How's the quality of it?

Could be good for garden bbq music I guess.

You're not understanding the concept of if you pay 4 times the price then you'd expect more of a product, which would show that it isn't a comparison in the slightest. I'd use an analogy to help you but I can't waste anymore time trying.

Nice man.
TaoTronics/SunValleyTek are the guys responsible for the RAVPower brand, too. Had plenty of their products and always impressed by the overall quality/value.

Their aftercare is also outstanding - don't think I've bought usb cables for three years (they stand by their lifetime warranty and just send replacements when I ask).
So, lots of futile argument stirred up by argumentative people, but nothing about whether it souds good or not. Very helpful

Per watt for speakers? LMAO You're the first person I've seen that has done a wattage/price comparison for speakers.
200W is a lot but I doubt anyone looking at the soundbar will have the max use out of that wattage at all. The higher the watts means the higher the max volume would be and people looking at this soundbar won't be interested in flooding their whole house with sound.

Also where is the logic is recommending a THX Logitech when you can't get it brand new? You can only get it pre-owned on ebay for at least £80+.
Why give us a recommendation for something we can't buy new?

For the cheaper price you get bluetooth, a much smaller form-factor(not everyone has space for a large speaker system) and 1 or 2 cables.

False economy in my opinion, have had a couple of their products over the last few years and all became faulty one way or another 12 months or so after purchase. Just my opinion based on my own experience of course.

Power means very little. I've got a pair of speakers which are only rated at 10W but which are about 3' tall and 2' wide. You wouldn't want to put 10W through them and be in the same room without ear defenders.

That said, anything in a soundbar is unlikely to be anything like that sensitive and I'd also wonder what THD they are quoting those powers at.

Great idea, I always have my PC speakers at very low volume just so I can hear basic windows theme sounds and maybe the odd youtube commentary. Why don't I buy a massive 200w Logitech setup and then turn it right down to 10% volume, and just put up with the fact it takes up half my desk instead of buying this perfectly sized, low power speaker that will fit the bill perfectly. You're a genius!

No, it's tiny and designed for small pc monitors. Would be worse than your TV speakers.
Any opinions as to how this compares to the Trust 12W Soundbar? Appreciate it's not Bluetooth but given will always be next to my laptop, I can deal with USB, but interested in sound quality and ease of use... Thanks smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/…S6/
