    Anker is far better.
    Anker is a Chinese brand brand founded by former high level Google employees and they make brilliant product for the price. TaoTronics is a Chinese brand who makes rubbish product and fills Amazon with fake reviews. You make your choice.

    The rock speaker in particular is not very good but I have quite a few other taotronics products which I've been quite please with for the price purchased.

    Sure not as good but for half the price they are bargains. My TaoTronics cylinder speaker goes really loud, but it does have a hiss on low volume but it doesn't bother me. I'm tempted to get this one too.

    I have this and this taotronics 360. This one really doesn't have much bass at all. There are probably better Bluetooth speakers out there for the money.

    I have to agree with you there. The 360 speaker has just stopped working after 5 months. You connect to it and it lets out a number of beeps but doesn't play any music.

    Tried to ask a question on the Amazon page and it's locked due to a number of bogus reviews. Have just gone for an Anker speaker and will see how I get on. Amazon as always very good CS and happy to refund.

    I have always heard good reviews about Anker. Saying that I have a taotronics bluetooth selfie stick that I am so glad I bought. Friend bought taotronics bluetooth headset and seems quite pleased with it. (edited)

    I agree on the lack of bass. Considering it's about 50% bigger than my old JBL Flip 2 it was pretty disappointing in the lower range.
